  We were super surprised to see poutine on their menu, so we had to get some! It was really good! We'd love to see some more varieties of poutine someday, we also got a free platter of cookies because they were going to throw them out!

  Well prepared standard dishes, pasta, beef, fish etc and unique specials. Consistently good meals, friendly staff and a great water view of Cayuga Lake.

  My family has been going to the Deerhead for at least three generations. It's changed over the past few years but come around. Nice place to go for a view of Cayuga Lake.

  Had lunch here today sat. They are off the beaten past but view from dining room is nice. Food was good and served in timely matter. Ok. Staff was polite and helpful.

  I have eaten at the deerhead many times. The food was usually pretty good, but tonight was the night I had a terrible meal. Waited 30 minutes for my 2nd drink. Waited another 20 after my daughter was served for my meal, and it was terrible. I reluctantly paid for it, not wanting to cause a scene in front of my daughter. They need to get more consistent. When I drop $75 on a five year old and myself, I expect a decent meal around here, and better service than I received. Fix your problems, and make the specials palatable.

  We came here about 9 years ago and it was so bad we didn't come back until now. I believe it is a new owner. Definitely improved. Very good meal. Reasonable prices and service was excelent.

  Had an amazing meal with family and friends for a lunch recently. Waitstaff was courteous and prompt, the food was absolutely delicious and you can't beat the view of the lake. This is a true gem in the area and I highly recommend it!

  Enjoyed several meals at the Deerhead this past week while vacationing at a cottage on Cayuga Lake. One night I had the most delicious NY Strip Steak cooked to PERFECTION!!! The side of Rice Pilaf was very tasty. For dessert I enjoyed wonderful light cake with real whipped cream & fresh blueberriesUNBELIEVABLE!!!!
  On another day, I ordered the Chicken Cipolla and was thoroughly pleased with the tastings of the dish. I also included the salad bar that had a vast variety of items and enhanced my meal!!! I topped the meal off with a DELIGHTFUL Lemon Blackberry Mojito.oh, so Good!!! We also enjoyed a less formal evening & stopped in for their steamed clams, chicken wings & cocktails!! The family was not disappointed once again!! We will return to the Deerhead again as the Food & Service was wonderful along with Fair prices!!

  My husband and i are huge fans of the Deerhead.
  The new menu and features look great!
  My food is always delicious, I love the grilled chicken wings, Best in town! We hope to see our favorite server amber there, she always has a smile on her face, very polite and very helpful!
  Service is fast and food is hot!!!
  Summer afternoons are breathtaking beside the lake! A mustttt visit!
