Absolutely awful ! Waited for ever only to end up with poor quality food and terrible service. Only a ‘chef’ and one other person there and you pretty much have to sit at the bar and wait to get food. 2 hours and the worst bacon and egg we have had in a long time. The staff are ignorant and they serve there take away food ahead of there customers in house.
Worst part was that the ‘chef’ clearly does not understand basic food hygiene as he was not only touching uncooked meat products but cutting them with the same knife he used to cut up his bread, sandwiches the had made etc. Never washed his hands once the whole time we were there despite touching raw eggs and raw meat.
Avoid this place and ignor the reviews which say it’s good, it isn’t !

A tiny little spot. Food was good. This place can only hold about 12 people. When we got there had to wait outside. It was worth it though.

I ordered the "Big Man Breakfast", didn't have to eat until 8pm that evening. Each item was delicious, especially the pancakes. The owner is really friendly and inviting. Do keep in mind this place only has around 15seats, so be prepared to wait a bit for a seat. Not suitable for more the 2 people I reckon.

In a place like New York, you sometimes just want a place where you can get a great breakfast in a cozy place where you don't feel like one of a million customers. That place is Johny's, a great counter diner that offers good food at a good price with a friendly touch. Johny is friendly, hard working, and will try to make conversion even if he is running around. The best breakfast you can get for under $15 in New York hands down.

Want a proper American breakfast? Look no further! Great bagels, coffee, fluffy pancakes with syrup. Amazing way to start the day. If going on a Saturday I'd recommend getting here before 9 as the queues start about then.

Legendary. Legendary. Legendary. Try the pastrami and eggs.

This place is an amazing benchmark for dates who claim to love food. Its an inexpensive tiny hallway-diner with no frills whatsoever. Just spectacular food.

If she makes a face like "ew what kind of girl do you think i am" and makes no mention of the magnificent food, you know exactly what youre dealing with.

Had the Jersey Shore special! Delicious food and best coffee I've had so far in NY. Loved how the waiter knew I would ask for milk and had it ready to serve before I asked for a jug. Main guy who asked if we would move to another table to make more space for another party did it so well. We didn't mind at all service was bang on. Go here for a breakfast or a meal to set you up for the day of exploring NY. Will be visiting again!

One of the best diners I've ever been to. A mom and pop shop with AMAZING food and unbeatable prices. I had the banana chocolate chip pancakes since it seems to be the house special. I'm not normally a pancake fan but these pancakes made me change my mind. The chocolate chips were gooey in the pancakes and the bananas were deliciously sweet. I was able to eat the pancakes with no syrup and tiny tiny dashes of butter, THAT'S how good they were. My friend got the big man special and it was HUGE. 2 pancakes, bacon, eggs, and French toast. He normally has a huge appetite that one meal can't cure. His meal was so good and big he could barely finish it.

I also went previously with my boyfriend who had the Greek gyro and he said it was absolutely amazing. I previously had the eggs and bacon, super simple meal that was somehow shockingly good because the ingredients were so fresh.

The place is usually packed but the cooks are so fast (you see them cooking in front of you which is really cool- no concerns about roaches in this diner!). The wait is 5-10 minutes even if the place is packed (it usually is because it only seats like 15). Do your taste buds and wallet a favor and stop in.

Awesome experience. I came with my wife and daughter who was in a pram as I had no idea it was so small with mostly a bar area to eat at. No worries, because the staff folded and stored our pram and sat us at a table at the back - they couldn't have been more helpful and it was busy too. Breakfast was delicious and coffee was good, too. Very pleased with the experience and the extra effort the staff put in.

Great place for your basic diner food. Love the breakfast dishes. In fact, I've only ever had the breakfast dishes so it's time for me to try out a burger next.

Pastries look good and are reasonably priced. Hard boiled eggs were perfectly made and also priced well. Pleasant proprietor and environment.

This is an amazing place to buy your breakfast. Although it may be crowded at times this restaurant is worth the wait. Their service is great. Their food tastes amazing. If you are going to New York and need a place to get breakfast this is the place u should go.
