This place is amazing. It is a little expensive, but worth every penny. It was one of the best meals I have ever had. Staff is friendly and take great care of you. Seating is limited, so call. Atmosphere is not necessarily private, but It is quiet.

The high-end cuisine is a foodies paradise. The atmosphere is romantic, even the bar is classical elegance. Outdoor seating is available. Moreover, JJJ is the most reliable Central Pennsylvania restaurant for gluten free Celiac diners.

We were vacationing in the Lancaster area and thought this would be a good place for dinner. "Good" is a huge understatement. We sat on the patio as the sun was setting, ordering and sharing several small plates and just enjoying the impeccable service, the delicious food, and the wonderful ambiance. The dessert, a lavender-infused creme brulee, topped it all off. Throughout, we were never rushed, only welcomed - you'll enjoy it if you go!

Our first visit this evening was to celebrate a birthday. Our dining experience was exceptional from beginning to end. The food was interesting and delicious; our server, John, was helpful with his recommendations and his charm added to the overall pleasure of our dining experience. We will be back.

This is an amazing restaurant! The service was very good, seating comfy and chique and the food and drinks delicious and not overpriced. I had the best soup I've ever tasted here, so I would definitely recommend this place.

We had dinner at John Jeffries for the first time on our 50th wedding anniversary a few nights ago. The locally-sourced foods and grass-fed, hormone-free meats were a real draw for us. Our meals were excellent, the service was extremely attentive without being overbearing, and, because I had notated that we were celebrating when I made the reservation online, we were treated like royalty. Our experience included the most delicious meal, and best service, we have received at a restaurant in years. We highly recommend John Jeffries, and we will most definitely be back!

We seem to always choose John J for a restaurant when we have a special occasion. We love the local menu and "foodie" options. I would like it if there were more choices for vegetarians. I really like that the menu is different every time we go.

I've only been here twice, but it's my favorite fine dining restaurant in Lancaster for special occasions. Amazing farm-to-table seasonal menu selection with absolutely delicious food. Bonus points for a draft list that's entirely Pennsylvania beer.
