The day shift crew is great especially those making the food. I wouldn't dare go there in the evening hours though because of the crowds.

Joe's is the perfect place to dance on the weekends and get 1/2 price burgers during select weekdays. The dancefloor here is unmatched.

For a college bar it's pretty nice. Average pub food with good drink prices. Monday nights are probably the most packed. The outdoor patio is nice as well. The music could be a lot better.

Only been here for half-priced burgers on Tuesday/Thursday, but it's been great so far. I can't say anything about other aspects of this place, though.
Buy a drink and one of the many tasty burgers and it comes to about $6.50. It's also more than I can comfortably eat, so that's nice. The fries are quite tasty, as well.response / report this review -

Went on a Tuesday evening (4:30pm), not crowded. Ordered a Bama Burger (Double)+coleslaw and California Burger+fries.
Burgers were great. Preferred Bama burger over California. The onions on the Bama burger were raw wish they were grilled.
Fries are scrumptious. Could eat a whole plate of them. Coleslaw was good, more of a vinegar based coleslaw which I preferred over a coleslaw smothered in mayo.
They have ketchup, mustard, tabasco regular, tabasco green jalepeno, and A1 steak sauce. Wish they had a creamier hot sauce like Cholula or Valentina.
Soda is included in the price so don't worry about having to pay extra or getting just water.response / report this review -

Joe's has the best dance floor of any campus bar! If you want to get down then head to Joe's and go to the back room on Friday's and Saturdays. Additionally, they have a gorgeous balcony with lights and sometimes host a mechanical bull!

The only reason I ever eat here is the half-off burgers on Tuesday and Thursday. The burgers are over-priced otherwise. They are adequate burgers, but nothing special. The special burgers usually have a lot of toppings, which makes sense for a bar that caters to undergraduates. This is definitely an undergrad bar, so grad students may want to get burgers to go.

For a college bar, this place has pretty spectacular food. This review is going to be based solely on their food. Their burgers are a lot better than most other places, and if you go when they have specials on burgers, they can be as low as $5. The fries here are amazing as they are twice fried for extra crispiness. Their fried pickles are amazing and this is one of the few places in town that serves them. Being a bar, it can be extremely crowded.
