Camped at a fantastic view site here for several days leading up to the 2017 eclipse. Lovers of the outdoors and incredible views will feel right at Home here.

One of the best places to visit in South Carolina. Renting a boat and touring the lake, camping on its banks, hiking some of the nearby trails. It's all pristine.

Magical places to visit. A place to connect with nature and the earth as a whole. Great swimming and beautiful scenery. A fisherman's dream as well.

Screw this place. Can't camp without a permit and there's no signs showing that. Got fined and ticketed for having alcohol too and a fire. No fires allowed?!? PUT SIGNS UP. Money trap.

Jocassee is the most beautiful lake i have ever seen. Even at full capacity, it is not crowded. It is sparkling clean and quiet. The views are breathtaking!

Only down side for a Jeepers is roads are too good. No need in 4 wheel drive anywhere. Otherwise great day off road and off cellular service

Beautiful place to get out and explore nature. There is plenty of space to go and explore, but not terribly difficult to hike around. Any novice should be able to get around pretty easily. Definitely worth checking out if you like experiencing the great outdoors.
