This is the best Mexican food I have hadI have had the machaca burrito and also a chicken burrito.seasonings are divine! Fun and funky little placelove it and will be back!

Really good food. Shredded beef tacos were outstanding. Tons of vegan/ vegetarian options and substitution are clearly marked on the menu.

Very nice atmosphere. Service was great. Had the chicken burrito, was was plentiful and tasty. They have a little bar/cantina as well. We walked there from a nearby apartment, but I think parking could be a challenge. I suspect most of their customers are mostly locals.

Great food, special of creamy chipotle sauce was delicious! Brilliant service too felt like home as soon as we walked in, despite being from Dublin, Ireland

The food was ok, not as authentic as I anticipated. The service was VERY slow and not overly friendly. It was close to our hotel and lovr Mexican food but it wasn't what we thought it would be. The prices weren't horrible though and it was very clean.

I had the Camerones Rancheros in norteña sauce. Delicious! Good portion size, not to much food. Ginger Margarita was generous.

Love this place! Excellent food & great staff! I try to come at least once a week, definitely worth the money. Chips & salsa are brought to you immediately & the salsa is the best!

Checked down to Jimmy Carter's solely based on the name and that we had failed to "tackle a table" at a local upscale bistro. What I got for the price of an entree at the other joint was a Chile Relleno , Shrimp tacos, and two awesome old school margaritas. Not having to hang with yuppies, campy Mexican decor, and the "nearly dead, or need to be fed" crowd make this place a winner. Take your date to the Spruce Street suspension bridge nearby, then get a pitcher of margaritas, you may go home a winner! con suerte

Somewhere between 3 and 3.5 stars
The restaurant was not very full and they were playing sad current hits. The contrast of bright walls and subdued tunes was uncomfortable striking.
I was acknowledged and seated pretty quick and the waiter was incredibly polite. The margarita was very tasty.
Food came out pretty quick. The salsas were pretty good. The guacamole was BEGGING for acidity. The chips were not fresh, but not stale. My meal (veggie and soy beef enchilada with rice and beans) was kind of all over the place. The rice was overcooked, but the beans were beautifully balanced. The enchilada had great sauce but the filling was noxiously sweet (why?!?)
TL;DR go for the service, margaritas, beans, and maybe salsa. Otherwise, I'm sure there is someplace better to goresponse / report this review
