It was a great atmosphere. They were not overly loud with the music either, which is a major plus for me. The service at the bar was pretty quick as well. I will definitely go back to this venue again in the future.

amazingly good food, great beer selection, friendly staff. The stage area was really big and open. Live sound was CD quality. Very much enjoyed my time spent there.

Pretty cool but small venue, seem to have a lot of good bands come here for cheap prices. Pretty small stage, intimate setting. The bummer for me and my group though was the lack of a line. I know it sounds crazy I’m complaining about NOT standing in a line!! But it kinda just turned into a mad dash for the front rows and I feel like a line would function a lot smoother in all ways.

Fantastic venue for music, comedy, and other eclectic performances. Truly embodies Ashevillian spirit. Great tacos, etc way better than typical pub grub, with vegetarian options. Check their website for schedule, sometimes free shows & others reasonably priced, also whether seated or standing room show. Casual and friendly. Love the large outdoor patio. Located in River Arts District, not downtown.

We had a wonderful time at this venue for a concert. Unpretentious service and prices. Awesome photographs on the wall taken by an employee of The Grey Eagle. I recommend this establishment.

This is one of my favorite venues for live music in Asheville. They get a lot of really good performers and have reasonable ticket prices. The food (healthy Mexican) and beer are good, too! Often times I wish there were seats, but they do set up folding chairs for some performances.

Comedians were excellent! The seats were pretty comfortable for the two hour show, and the drinks and food available were great. The bathroom looks a little sketch but it is clean!

Best dive music venue around. It can get cramped, and it's no symphony auditorium, but it's always fun, lots of room to move around, has wide beer selection & great food when the taqueria is open. Easy access to outdoor smoking and lounge area, not so disconnected that you feel like you're leaving the showbeen coming to gigs here nigh upon 20 years, hope it stays for another 20!!!

A great venue for live music. A good beer selection. I didn't try the food but what I had seen looked delicious. Clean bathrooms and an outdoor patio for smokers or to just relax.

They have many good bands come here but when they say standing room only they mean it. Also, you had better like PBR or you're going to be paying 7$ for a drink. Soeaking of drinks I hope you like waiting for 10 minutes or more for one beer.

Awesome Small venue. Great acoustics. The taco shop located on premises is soooo good. We enjoyed everything Abbott the experience. Highly recommended. Come early to get a good seat (though there really aren't any bad seats)

The Grey Eagle always puts on unique artists and has a very low-key vibe. If you are coming to a show, come early. The line can get long and the space fills up fast.
