wine was ok, whites were good, red needed some help
The wine just was not good.
Friendly and good conversations
Nice place!
Very quaint place, more mom & pop'ish, but we loved it for that very reason because it was very relaxing. My wife and I enjoyed the wines. I recommend a stop.
Beautiful setting but not as appealing as other places we have visited on the CT wine trail. Wines were OK but mostly not to our liking. We did fine the NorEaster and one other that we did like enough to take a bottle home. To be honest the owner does not seem to have his heart in the job. Even half joked about being willing to sell the whole place. If your are in the area you can give it a go but don't make a special trip for this one.
After spending the day wine tasting at different wineries, this was not on our top ten list. The wife and I came here and were just underwhelmed. A lot of their wines weren't to our tastes, but we did leave with a bottle of Nor'Easter.
The prices are reasonable, and we also got to keep our tasting glasses, but I was hoping for more. Maybe if they had some crackers for palate cleansing between tastes
