Very friendly staff in an adorable country store. Stopped in after a hike at Campbell Falls and was famished! Had the Honey Moo Moo sandwich was delicious as was the pasta salad (if you love onions which I do)! My husband got the onion rings which were crisp and a roast beef special which was good too! Will definitely try to come back on our way out of town tomorrow!

Saw Ryan argue with a local women about the cook on a pizza. I guess when the women came back in with the well done pizza(he made her bring it back) he basically told her he didn't care. He then pushed both boxes at her and turned away. I was embarrassed for her. She showed me the pizzas outside and both were black/burnt. It was a terrible display by Ryan especially knowing the women isn't one to complain about anything. This kid needs to grow up. This is not New Haven and your pizza even though you charge Pepe's price, is not Pepe's. Not even close. She won't be back and neither will I. I'll drive to Canaan or Winsted. You can't treat locals that way.

Beautiful new store! It's so nice to have a store so close again! Everything from staples like milk and bread, to deli sandwiches, ice cream, & locally sourced items. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming!

Venison Jerky Found. Very cool country store. It's a deli, it's a convenience store, it's a coffee shop. The store is super clean and the staff is very friendly.

This eating cafe and store is a "Gem" for the North West CT. area. It is an historic well-known meeting spot for as long as all remember! You will also see a mini-transportation(motorcycle) museum inside,antiques,the original Coca-Cola and yes,Pepsi long original,bottles to enjoy,like the "old" days. You will see a rare Porsche "S"bicycle and Hawthorne Rollfast motor bike making occasional visits here and local famous celebrities eat here? They will please your appetite,and visit.Well worth the stop here.
