Way too many bugs! I've worked at an apple farm this is not from someone who isn't around bugs but it was literally swarms of bugs everywhere we were chased out after about 15 minutes it was so bad! Otherwise it would have been great

Amazing apples of all varieties plus pumpkins. Awesome tractor pulled hayride thru the orchard. Staff are extremely friendly. We purchased a home made mixed berry pie which was amazing. Beautiful country ride in Ct. If you want a great fall time experience this is the place to go.

Small farm Apple picking without corporate atmosphere. Cider donuts do not have cinnamon coating. Cider is non-pasteurized.

The worst farm experience! There was no shade, and steep.
Worst:the fruits (berries) and the so called dozen ears of "fresh" corn were pest filled! So gross! Oh and no pears grown there. Signage sucks and the corn maze was dangerous and not maintained maze walkways.

If you want a great farm experience Igo to Averill Apple farm and stand in Washington Ct instead!

Not a good farm to drive to, rather try Layman's Orchard,it's much better, this farm will cost you more and there is not that much to pick. The raspberries are really good.

We went to the farm only to be greeted by the apparent owner of the farm telling us that he will not let us go apple picking because he was busy with other things! Let me just mention that the sign stated that apple picking is available. We drove over 30 miles with a small child just to be greeted by the 'busy' owner. Sorry, this is not the best way to attract customers.

A great day at the orchard. Sitting on top of a mountain in Sharon Ct.. Ellsworth farm is a great family adventure. Starting in june with strawberries and going till Thanksgiving with apples there is something for everyone. I visit there quite often to keep lots of fresh fruit in the fridge. If you are on the farms e-mail list they will keep you updated as the different crops come into season. The trees this year were loaded with fruit and it is very easy pickings. I am told the farm will be starting to sell pre-cut Christmas trees this year as well as planting trees for future cut your own trees. The fresh squeezed cider is also a treat as well as the donuts and pies and muffins. Love this place.

The farm is really beautiful! It really is a hill, with a great view of the surrounding area at the top and a pond at the bottom. We even saw a few deer during our visit.

The honey crisp apples are some of the best apples I've ever tasted. There is also a store across the street with cider (made on site--you can watch them make it if you come at the right time) and pre-picked fruit, pumpkins, baked goods, etc. The staff is really great.

THE PRETTIEST FARM IN CONNECTICUT! WE SPENT THE WHOLE DAY HERE STARTING WITH A 40 MINUTE EDUCATIONAL HAYRIDE OF THE ORCHARD AND BERRY PATCHES. NEXT WAS THE CORN MAZE: 3 ACRES OF LAND IN WHICH YOU HAD TO FIND CLUES IN THE MAZE TO COMPLETE AND ANIMAL CROSSWORD PUZZLE. NEXT: IN THE RETAIL STORE: A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF HOW THEIR FRESH PRESSED CIDER IS MADE WITH THE SWEET SMELLS OF BAKED GOODS SURROUNDING US. WE ENDED WITH PICKING PUMPKINS, GOURDS AND APPLES. WE WERE AMAZED ON HOW WELL THIS LAND WAS TAKEN CARE OF. A GREAT DAY WE WILL NEVER FORGET!
