Just called the school to try to find out how to get my transcripts sent to another school. I tried to talk to the operator 3 times and no one answered then I tried the guidance option and the person hung up on me. This shouldn't be this difficult.

Ive had 1 child graduate from Jeff and another who is a freshman this year. It is drama filled and crowded. However, what better experience to prepare for the "real world". The staff is pretty good - I love my children's counselor. The sports teams are so-so but if that is your kids thing--hey--practices almost nightly, keeps them off the streets. The Music/Art dept is amazing. Minimum of 2 plays per year, 2 massive choral shows per year, depending on the choir your child makes there is traveling for competitions and they usually come in the top 3. They almost have to much to choose from. There is an education program that'll put your child in a school 2 days per week to see how to teach. They have a medical program that gets a lot of your pre-reqs done if medicine is you future. The AIM program that teaches the kids how to run machinery and gives them the potential to get on at CAT, Subaru, etc faster. There is a fire and rescue program if this type of service is your dream. Not gonna lie, it can be rough. If you graduate with a good grades, the colleges take all of that into account - all the trials you had to endure while trying to get your education, and they want you more. Good school. I'm biased, best in the district.

I work at another educational establishment in the area. As someone who interfaces with the staff on a professional level I can genuinely say they care about their students. There are some high-caliber teachers and staff members here. With any considerably-sized city school there will be challenges, but the staff and teachers work hard for those kids.

The best High School in Lafayette. Education of your children is high level. They care about the success of your children. And help you plan and take opportunities for your children about college and scholarships.
