The machines are a little tight but still fun place to head if you're driving by
Nice breakfast. Nice selection of games. Clean. Nice bar. I like stopping at this casino. I will be back. Great popcorn at the bar. Big free glasses of pop. I like this joint. Nice 🍺 beer too!
Always love stopping on the way from Esky. Very beautiful casino.
Visited there on Sunday 9/17/17. They have taken the human element completely out of this casino. No blackjack dealers or roulette to spin, it is all computerized now. We took family who were visiting, and they did say they won't have us take them back there again, as they do not like not having the dealers. They understand in a small community they might not be able to justify having them during the week, but on weekends and holidays there are plenty of people around. The smoke smell is awful, but I guess not much you can do about that. It is nice to have a complementary drink area, with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, soda & water. They did stop at Oneida in Green Bay on the way home and had a blast!
One of the few casinos in Michigan that I've been to that doesn't smell like an ashtray!
We were there for the first time on Thursday. Nice place, friendly staff, reasonable drink prices. I didn't like the fact that you only offer 1cent machines. For that matter, i don't see me returning or suggesting it to others. The machines are very tight on the payouts and for the amount of money me and my husband spent. I would have expected better.
We stayed in their camping area for a few nights and spent some time in the casino. We were pretty happy with everything. The grassy RV area was nicer than campgrounds where we've paid to stay - so that was a huge plus! The casino is small, but there were fun penny games that we enjoyed. Yes, it's a little smoky in there - but really not bad and you should just expect that at a casino and get over it or don't go if it's that big of an issue. The folks in the bar were nice enough and we got free popcorn with our drinks! The rest of the staff we encountered were really pleasant. We heard that they'll soon be renovating the bar area and that will be nice! The bar area was big, underutilized, and a bit depressing.
Small casino yet necessary. This place actually closes not 24 hours. RV lots for rent.
Smaller casino but a fun stop if you're in the area.
Very small casino. It is a nice break on long drives through the UP. We camped in the parking lot overnight- it was dark and quiet.
Went there with a group of 4. As a group we didn't lose much money. We were there about 3 hours. We played blackjack and three card poker. The dealer at the three card poker table was not friendly at all. She was very rude. One of the guys at the table said the word ass. The dealer threw a fit. I've never seen anything like it. Its not like he was using the f-word or anything. He said ASS. We are not from the area but there was some locals at our table and they couldn't believe it. You have to be 19 top get in also. We were all adults at the table. I think she over reacted just a little. One other thing It took 25 minutes to get our drinks after we ordered them. We did complain to the bit boss but did no good. We tipped her a little more on the second drink but it didn't do any good. I would not recommend this casino. I think there are better options in the U.P.
Place was pretty dead. We played for about an hour. It's overall about 5-6,000 sq. ft. Not too bad, it's what you would expect of a U.P. casino.
