  We stopped here for lunch on a Saturday. The food is wonderful! The service was good and the chef (Yes, an actual culinary school trained chef.) came out to chat with the customers. I had fish and grits. The catfish was perfectly breaded and seasoned, the grits were buttered and served with the delicious gumbo. We had a piece of caramel cake for dessert and it was moist but not over the top sweet. (There is also a pastry chef.) Prices were extremely reasonable. We will be back.

  I love the fact they have different coffees to try and they have Awesome Salads ! Just real pricey for some budgets !

  Gumbo and catfish on point. Fresh veg and seasomed well and many items locally sourced. From chicago. Needs a different connection then java tho LOL thumbs up tho chef

  The food is pretty good but the customer service is lacking. I enjoyed the atmosphere of this place much more under its previous owners. I have no idea whether you can still get coffee drinks. If you can, then it's really specific times or only when they have a barista. It's possible that because the chef is semi famous, they thought they could carry the place on the reputation of the food. But the food isn't that amazing.

  The food is great but the customer service or lack thereof is horrible. The owner doesn't speak to you unless he knows you. Honestly, the least you can do to people who patronize your business is speak! The hours of operation are not consistent one day they're open and the next they're closed!!
