If you're looking for the best- get it done service, this is the place. Carl can make it work, and there's no one better with an axle or machine work. You'll likely pay a premium, but in my experience, the value exceeds the expense.

Jantz price almost doubled from what was originally agreed to verbally. Carl originally quoted shop time of 2 hours. Then upon his learning of my expertise on fuel injection, he suggested that his services could be bartered for if I were to work on the fuel injection system on his personal jeep. However, on return to pick up the work, he made up some nonsense about my being a government employee, so he couldn't barter with me. Then, he added that the job had been more difficult than what he had originally estimated. Welding an intake manifold came to a final price of almost $400.00 vise the original price of approximately $200. Later, when I was in the process of installing the manifold, I notice that he had burned through on one of his welds and damaged an o-ring sealing surface. His damaged weld had to be repaired by me at considerable addition time and expense. My advice is to go elsewhere.

I went here recently to have the shackles for the leaf springs of my trailer welded. They were incredibly expensive for the service you received. Two welds, an inch square cost $50. Can you say ripoff? I will never be returning here ever again.
