Wow, after reading some other reviews I'm wondering if they went to the same place. I absolutely adore the decor and professionalism of the staff. Lawry's used to be our go to 'fancy dinner out' place, but the value for the service, atmosphere and food makes this place a winner. I have to say, my steak fries on my last visit were a little undercooked, but I know they would have righted the situation if I had mentioned it. Bottom line, if you are looking for a nice 'grown up' dinner out in a relaxing cozy restaurant, this is the place. I'm happy that this place exists with all the modern restaurants with their 3rd world wood and metal noisy decor this place is a true gem.

Don’t pay someone to INSULT YOU AS A CUSTOMER. UNPROFESSIONAL & UNACCEPTABLE.
WORST steak I have ever had but MOST IMPORTANTLY, worst encounter with management EVER. Since when did INSULTING YOUR CUSTOMERS BECOME ACCEPTABLE? Total shock. So UNPROFESSIONAL.
I'm not even the type to complain in restaurants but this steak (if you want to call it such, bone in rib eye) was not edible (not only dry but so BURNT that the charcoal taste left a bitter taste on my tongue for rest of the night, no matter what I ate or drank), I tried to tell Jim (who was supposedly in charge/owner) and he said it's cooked to perfection that I "should taste charcoal because this is a charhouse". He refused to give me another one (although our table had 4 other bone in rib eyes that were cooked decent so I knew they were capable of such). He brought me juice to solve the fact that it was dry as hell. To make it worse (even though I didn't eat it and he refused to try it), he blamed my taste bud (although 5 other people tried it and agreed with me), he CHARGED me $35 for it. What a f'ing joke? He may have gotten $400 from us tonight but he will never get another cent. I hope that you don't bother WASTING YOUR MONEY just so you get terrible food service and above else, insulted as a customer. See the pictures and you can be the judge for yourself if that's what you call a medium bone-in rib eye AND service. I left the steak behind for Jim to enjoy.

Horrible Unless you are taste bud challenged, skip this place or go to the Jameson's in Crystal Lake or Huntley as they are both excellent w/no disappointments! We would've thought this Jameson's would have the same standards & quality Boy, were we wrong!
The ONLY PLUS was our server Candy. She was an excellent server & possesses excellent customer service skills (unlike the management & extremely rude and abrasive Hostess). Candy is the only reason why we didn't send all the food back. She is also why I was able to eek out the one 🌟that I so generously gave your establishment.

1st time here. Went for lunch. Service was great. Burgers were freaking crazy big and very tasty. Though a little pricy I thought we got our money's worth.

The food is very good. Ive been to 5 different locations & have not had a bad meal. The portions are ample & the drinks are stiff. I will always say yes to Jameson's!

Classic steakhouse with great steaks. The menu also offers a variety of options if your looking for something other than steak. Jameson's is not breaking any new ground. They're comfortable with who they are and what they do. Which is to consistently serve delicious food! The atmosphere is casual and laid back and the servers are attentive. If you choose Jameson's you won't be disappointed.

My daughter ordered steak and jumbo shrimp. I ordered the prime rib. They were both delicious! Everything was awesome!

best food in northwest suburbs. We go here 1 to 2 times per week. Service is very good. lots of help on the floor. No wait for water, coffee or a butter refill. The french onion soup is the best i have ever had. Steaks, chops and ribs very good. both the owner George and mgr George are there to help the staff in any way they can. Prices are fair for a Tuesday or a Saturday night meal, So you don't have to wait for a special occasion to go there. I heard Orion Samuelson from WGN radio recommend the place. We are glad we found them.

Step back in time to a place that serves good old fashioned midwestern food and you've got Jameson's. Old classics like the London Broil are standouts, be sure to get a big bake potato to go along with it. Friendly service in a very warm and welcoming restaurant. Grab a booth and realize the time has gotten away from you in this classic gem.

I tried this place with a couple friends last night and loved the steak. Only reason I didn't give it a higher rate was it was hard to get refills on our drinks and they would not do loaded mashed potatoes. I don't get it, the server said I could only do that with a baked potato. I have never had a problem with this until last night. I didn't think this was that hard for them to do all they needed to fo was put show cheese and sour cream on there.
