The place is a good experience, very good wines are served here and the attention is very good. You can find a very private atmosphere. I didn't enjoy my pasta as much, I think I have probably turned too stringent in taste for Italian food (coming from Europe), but all in all I would recommend this place

This place was amazing. Our waiter (Daniel) was super cool. He informed us about Boston go to’s and best bars in town. We are from Houston so super cool. Food was spectacular. From the wine to the main it was great. You ha e to go here if in beacon hill. Thanks Daniel!!!!

Delicious appetizers, entree's and desserts. Lovely atmosphere and delightful staff. Don't miss the blueberry and white chocolate tart. I would recommend to anyone who ia trying to get a good, well priced, Italian dinner

We waited 1 hour to be seat in this restaurant and be literally humiliated by the waitress and the manager. She asked us what do we want to drink and we chose to order 2 glasses of wine. As elsewhere, she told us she needs our IDs. We presented our driver licenses from Quebec and the waitress asked us what is Quebec No, seriously? Quebec is 150 miles north from Massachusetts, that is ridiculous We had to explain that Quebec is in Canada, and then she immediately refused to serve us.
The manager refused as well and told us that they never accept any driver license from elsewhere than Massachusetts or passports. I've been in restaurants/cafes/bars/liquor shops in the US hundred times, I'm currently in the US for months, I'm 28 and it just never happened before. Never! The manager didn't seem sorry at all and was very rude. They took our empty wine glasses from the table and left just like if we were 2 cheater students, letting us humiliated in front of all other customers who heard everything.
I don't care about your alcohol license issues, unless if there is a special law applicable on this specific restaurant, no other restaurant in Boston, neither in Massachusetts or in the whole USA never treated me like that.

Atlantic Salmon was good, but our waiter insinuated at least 3 times, that we were lesser patrons, probably because we didn't order wine. I guess having a large family and being from the Midwest he did not suspect I could give him a fat tip, buy the building, or leave a poor review. Given the poor performance I'm choosing the later.

Frequented Boston restaurants for years but can't believe I had never tried this place. It is located on Charles street near Beacon Hill and is a pretty large place inside even though it does not look like it on the outside. We were a large group so they put us downstairs in an old wine cellar style room which was pretty cool. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond to serve our large party of 8.
Drink menu had some nice offerings including tasty Bellinis and the wine menu was extensive. The main menu was everything you could imagine, from Antipasto dishes of cured meats and grilled eggplant to sautéed shrimp. Seconds consisted of Double smoked bacon Radiatore Pasta and Fettuccini Gnocchi which both were delicious. Main courses consisted of beautifully done Filet and Veal Pizzaiola Scallopini and Stuffed Chicken Breast or Rack of Lamb. To finish this wonderful meal, we topped the dinner off with an excellent Tiramisu, Flan and a white chocolate blueberry pie concoction. Everything was cooked just right and was made to perfection. I would highly recommend this place for excellent Italian outside the North End. Make it a point to bring your wallet to this place, Beacon Hill area and upscale Italian combined made this place pricey.response / report this review -

The hospitality of this place shocked me. Expecially since a faboulous hotel Liberty recomended this resturant. Ordered 2 togo plates, that would take a reasonable 20 minute wait. Counter guy would not let me sit and have a beer while waiting, there was plenty of seating. I waited outside, got the food with still plenty of seating available. Headed strait back to my hotel room via that conceiar.

Great food, great service, absolutely under-priced! Had an amazing roasted artichoke appetizer with strong notes of lemon and peppercorn. My main dish was the melanzane parmigiana. The sauce was sweet and had the perfect texture. The eggplant had been cooked to perfection. If I had to guess, it had been degorged because the pieces were very large, yet there was no bitterness. The scattered fresh mozzarella gave the dish weight and richness. The staff was friendly and the interior was well put together.Truly delicious! A must try for Italian outside Boston's North End.

Ordered 5 items and loved almost everything that I ate, except the seafood stew. The French seem to have perfect it with the bouillabaisse.
House focaccia was slightly dry and hard for me.
Nonetheless, very solid execution and knowledgeable bartender made the dining experience very memorable.
