Not as good as i hoped it would be. Very pricey. Being an apple festival there wasn't as much apple stuff as i hoped there would be. We drove two hours to get there and was disappointed. The parade was good though.

Great place to take the family. Lots of good attractions and booths. The ride company has a GREAT selection of rides. I work a lot of fairs and festivals and I do think this is the BEST one.

Held the third full week each September, the Jackson Apple Festival shines a spotlight brightly on this community over its jam-packed, five-day span. It features two extremely popular parades (Wednesday and Saturday), recognizable featured entertainers, delicious Apple Butter cooked by the Victory Grange, and lots of contests, rides, games and food. Undoubtedly the city's signature annual event.
