This was a wonderfully easy relaxing buggy ride with a well-mannered horse thru a beautiful island road. The owners were so nice and very helpful and the horse could have taken us himself with no guidance. Such a pleasure!

If you want to have the experience of driving a horse and buggy, this is the way to go! The staff are great and will get settled in and tell you what you need to know. The horses know the way. We had Bill and Ben.

Great rates, friendly employees. Rent a carriage for the best way to get around the island! Beats a bike hands down!

I personally am not one for riding horses, but my aunt has been going to Jack's for at least ten years. Every time we are on the Island, she goes for a horseback ride, and she has never been disappointed. This most recent time, my wife accompanied her on a ride, and she was very happy with the horse she was able to ride.

Great place for horse rentals! My husband and I have rented saddle horses the past two years. The guide leads you to the trails and asks you if you're comfortable going alone or if you want to stay with them. I think this might depend on your riding experience (we both have some). We have opted to go alone both times. What a cool experience!! Mackinac Island is gorgeous and amazing to explore on horseback. Most of the horses know the way.

We had "Jerry" as our tour guide, he is the best the island has to offer. He response to you, when you tell him how good he is with a neigh. He farts as much as a old man. We let Jerry show us the island, his been working on that island so long if he could talk, oh the stories he could tell us. His so famous, when your out with him, people will say hi old Jerry & then talk about him to their customers on their carriages. When we come back fall 2017, we only have 1 request. We want Jerry to take us on the shore tour. Thank you to the staff as well.

We walked in with a large group (a total of 16 people incl kids) and they were able to accommodate us with 3 horse-pulled carriages. They even threw in a discount without us asking which was extremely kind of them.
The horses were tame and we all enjoyed the ride. The workers were all polite and helpful.
