Very accommodating! We called ahead to let them know about our late arrival. The lights were on and the room was warm! Clean and odor free. Would be nice if they changed out the full size beds for queen size and got new pillows.

I cannot give this motel zero stars but would if I could. It appears the review from six years ago is most accurate and I trust review three weeks ago as I stayed here about ten days ago regretting ever since. Arranged for room in afternoon but did not actually go to room until late evening. Sat on top of comforter a couple hours with pillow against wall. Pulled back comforter to bugs on sheets, pillow, and then on wall where pillow was. Tore bed apart and second bed to find multiple critters on each. Researched as never experienced before and all indications, including video and bite evidence, they are bed bugs after seeing doctor for reactions. Slept in car overnight to get refund and inform owner of problem. Informed Michigan Health Department who state this is first complaint but suspect in other rooms. Will NEVER stay here again despite reasonable prices and mediocre interior as owner appeared ambivalent to facts and does not seem to have taken issue seriously as rooms appear to remain being rented. Be advised!

We checked in at 8 pm. The room was very nice. Recently remodeled with a lot of knotty pine and bead board paneling. The bathroom was a little tight but it worked. The shower, sink and toilet look to be brand new. The tile floor looks great too. The water pressure was extreme. The bedding was fresh and clean and also looks to be new. Very comfortable bed. The window ac works well. They have a flat panel tv with cable. Free wifi as well. We took the queen bed but they also have rooms with two beds. (I think the rooms with two beds were a couple dollars more.) All for only $45 on memorial day weekend. (Sunday night.) I highly recommend this motel. I'm glad I didn't read the 4 year old review before stopping.
