  Always a good place to eat. In the evening local bands play, good ones. This restaurant is truly a local treasure.
  BTW, no cover. Come, eat, drink beer and wine, and enjoy. Old Florida is brought to mind.

  I was really pleasantly surprised by this place. I went hiking with my son over at the Celery Fields over Thanksgiving break, and we stopped in for a late lunch. I'd always heard great things about the place, and I can honestly say that everything that I've heard was absolutely true. I had a burrito that was stuffed full of Ropa Vieja, and it was delicious. My son had a huge chicken sandwich. The atmosphere is really cool toit is nice to go to a place in Sarasota that has personality.

  Its a very good placer there's perfect good there's. The prices are really low. The building is strong but the store may look bar but that's because the placer was no fire. Check it out there is a bar. 😃😃😃😃😃😃

  Great catfish had a better burger elsewhere
  Shrimp and grits good as well.as the Cuban sandwich. Pricing average but when you get a really good dish the price is worth it. Service is Excellent
  Atmosphere old world Florida for sure. Good place to visit when you want something else.

  Love this place. I'm so happy it has not changed since the fire. The music was great the service was wonderful . The food was awesome. Definitely had a great time.!

  Great home cooking! Staff is the BEST.💜 JR'S family is awesome. Desserts are all homemadeDelicious! Catfish is the best. LOVE Atmosphere. GREAT BANDS. Greatest Place for dinner with your family & friends. Check it out.

  Local favorite, with a creative menu featuring Cuban cuisine. Eclectic decor, a different band every evening at 7. It gets noisy even before the band, with close tables and chattering diners. I found wine to be a pricey choice for the mid-price food, which is consistently "good."

  Had an amazing time! The food is great. Really fresh and worth the wait. The Alvis brothers open Mic was a lot of fun. An atmosphere for the whole family to enjoy.
