Best donut shop in the state. Pepperoni rolls are also top notch. Definitely a Top-5 must-visit shop in Parkersburg.

Love this place. Everyone is always friendly, and the doughnuts, pies, and pepperoni rolls are the best around! If driving near Parkersburg, it's worth the detour to drop by.

I have had more than my share of places calling themselves world's best doughnuts and the like, though Donut Castle is as good or better than anywhere elses for the same product and customizes based on fillings or frostings to make to anyone's liking.

The cannolis are PERFECT. If you are like me & still think the original cake donut is still the best donut ever DO NOT MISS the opportunity to eat some of JR's cake donuts! Open 24hrs a day drive thru window only after 11pm.

Simply the best. It's a little out of the way for me, but I still try and go there. The best glazed I have ever had in 2 countries, and across the USA. The say cats do not taste 'sweets'; yeah, you try and eat one of these glazed in MY house without giving a piece to my cat and you will NOT eat in peace!!!! Delicious!

The donuts, especially the croissant donut, are amazing! Just wish the people who worked there didn't make you feel like you are really inconveniencing them by being there.

Donuts are always good but after tonight if I walk in and see the same lady working I will go elsewhere. Short older lady working in there tonight around 8pm (03/07/2017)didn't catch her name, very rude though. We walked in after another guy and stood there and nobody would come up front after a couple minutes, I bumped the door and hit the buzzer she comes around the corner already with an attitude and is mouthing. She has a rag in her hand she's cleaning with tosses it walks up never washes her hands, gets the guys order in front of me grabs the paper to grab his donuts with and palms it in her hand and just grabs the donuts with her bare hands off the rack. She gets our order next and same thing, what's the point of grabbing it with wax paper or whatever it was if your just gonna bare hand the hell out of the donuts especially after seeing you come out of the back with a rag and never wash your hands? Got some donut holes for my 3 year old son to eat and she just reaches up and starts grabbing handfuls bare handed again and tossing them in the bag, then grabs a maple cream filled goes to put it in the box and literally buried her thumb into the end of it where the cream was, just wipes it off like it was nothing, That did it for me. Disgusted with her, I paid for it though. It's sitting in my trash can, doubt I'll go back after that.

Best Pepperoni Rolls in the state (and as someone else saidin the state that invented them). I was visiting family in the hospital and they carry JR's pepperoni rolls. I now live in Tampa FL and the only place I can get pepperoni rollsmy oven. I going in and buying like 3 dozens before I leave and to fly home for the family. TSA is going to think there is some funky new smuggling going on when they see my carry-on :)
