I was very excited to find this boat rental shop to surprise my boyfriend for a weekend of fishing on the lake. I have no experience with boats, so decided to call with a few questions. An older lady answered the phone. To my luck she was very unhelpful and unprofessional. She was very disrespectful and basically laughed in my face at every question. Maybe some of my questions were "dumb", but like I said I have no boat experience and would have loved to learn a thing or two. I eventually gave up and will happily take my business elsewhere.

We rented a cabin last February for a month. 1st time to lake Okeechobee. Loved the cabin, bar and friendly people. Made new friends and going back this February for a month. Can't wait to see all our new/old friends and do some fishing. **Hope I catch my bass of a lifetime this year like my husband did last year!!

J&S is amazing. I really lucked out finding this place. I came down for 2 weeks to bass fish on Okeechobee. Not only is the fishing as good as on tv, but the camp is like a small community. Everyone was super nice! They have a bar with $1 draft happy hour. I made friends the first night. And I can't say enough about the owner terry. She was so nice. She went above and beyond. On Christmas Eve, she cooked the entire camp a full breakfast For FREE. Pancakes, eggs, biscuits and gravy, bacon, sausage, and coffee!!! Are you kidding me?! And the camp is super dog friendly. Everyone gave my little dog Ralph attention, which made me feel good. If you're reading this, scouting for a place to stay, this is it! And check out the photos of the fish I caught! The first day I had 3 bass over 5lbs. And caught an average of 25-50 bass a day. NO exaggeration!!!!

The cabins are very clean and homey, have a full kitchen, ac, and clean restrooms. The rental boats (bass, pontoon, and John) are reasonably priced, their bait and tackle is fully stocked and Ted will set you up right. The owner engages everyone making sure each costumer is satisfied. This is the place for a weekend getaway or a week long vacation.

My son and husband visited here at the beginning of the summer it was a fabulous place we do a lot of camping and fishing and we have got to say if we can give this place 10 Stars we would. Excellent fishing experience the boat rentals were great and fair priced and the overall environment you felt like you were with family! The people were very friendly that owned and operated dog camp the cabins were some of the best that we've been in and if anything wasn't exactly what you thought it was going to be or had any problems with anything they would bend over backwards to make you comfortable never been to a fishing camp that was so attentive to her needs will definitely come back again making this our number-one camping and fishing spot for southern Florida! :-) so take it from me this is a great place to bring the fam and whoever would write something negative about it has to be cray cray because our experience was over-the-top wonderful definitely be back again next year.! :-)
