I love the atmoshpere at this resturant! I had the crab cakes that were delicious. Our waiter was so nice and paid close attention to detail and was just helpful with any questions that we had. I highly recommend this place!

Great food and service. I can always trust that whatever I order there will be delicious. Recent favorites include the steak burger, fried calamari, fish tacos, and Mac and cheese. I recommend making a reservation, especially on Friday and Saturday nights.

They have a great veggie burger on the menu that is house made and is completely vegan. One of the few places locally to get a great vegan sandwich. The burger comes with a choice of sides and the broccoli was a nice sized portion and was prepared to perfection. Definitely a great choice.

Great food, great service. The staff was very attentive, fresh food - all made on site. One of the best restaurants I’ve been to. Will definitely be going back when I’m in the Chicago area again.

4.5 stars! One of my favorite places in the near West burbs. My .5 reduction is for their Mac and Cheese, which other people love, so this could be my issue, but I'm not into M&C without cheddar.

My wife and I always enjoy going to J Alexander. The food is excellent and the service is always top-notch. We've visited on several occasions and have never had anything less than a great time.

Walking distance from the Hilton nearby (~.5 miles). Prime rib is tender and juicy. Wait staff friendly and pays attention to detail such as picking up straw wrapper from the table.

This is the best restaurant I have ever been to. Friendly and polite staff. Good drinks. Great food. And incredible atmosphere. Best order you can place: Steak Maui, Not Your Ordinary Mac & Cheese, n Alex's Salad. You can thank me later 😊

Great food, quick service, friendly staff (Jordan was helpful with answering menu questions and giving recommendations). I had the thai barbecue salmon and it was veryy very juicy and delicious. Definitely recommend the salmon and as an appetizer, the "spinach con queso", which is apparently their most popular appetizer. Bon appetit! And thanks, J. Alexander's!!

Horrible, never even got to eat. Was told 20 minutes wait, ended up waiting for 35 minutes. In the meantime the entire waiting area cleared out including everyone who followed behind us. I then asked and was informed there were more reservations in front of us. The next couple that walked through the door were sat in front of us without reservations. We were so furious that we left. I will make sure never to go there again and tell everyone I know to do the same.

Alexander The Great has nothing in this place. Although it's always busy, I've never had to wait for seating. The staff is skilled, knowledgeable and courteous, and the food is always delicious!
