Love it here! We came last year and had such a nice time, we came back! Breakfast is so good here too.
Very nice rooms and friendly owners. Nice continental style breakfast which was fine for us. Reasonable rate too.
Nice hotel. Great if you plan to stay around the Everglades. Sadly the Hotel and many surrounding business properties and homes have suffered hurricane damage. Open for business and welcoming guests - come and stay the area needs tourists and dollars. Lots to do and see.
Ivey house is a luxury room for such a small town as Everglades City. I would recommend Ivey House to anyone that wants a comfortable place to stay .
A very clean and well-kept hotel right in the middle of townn unfortunately in the summer they roll the streets up at 8 but we still found a nice restaurant to eat
Went on a 4 hour kayak trip in the everglades organized by ivey house. Great value and experience
I enjoyed the atmosphere of the Ivey house while having a lunch meeting with my team. Great food great atmosphere and excellent service.
They were very professional and had a lot of ammentities available. The on site restaurant was pretty good but outside of fish not many available options. Their activity center which is what we were there for is awesome. Super helpful and knowledgeable. Definitely will be returning! Soon
Feels old Florida, but definitely updated. Clean rooms, nice screened pool. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. We'll be back.
We stayed for one night at Ivey House before camping in Ten Thousand Islands. The hotel was recommended by Florida Outdoor Adventures for the night before departure. Only rooms in the lodge were available, so the room was quite small and there were shared bathrooms. For our purposes, just one night, it was just fine. There were hot water showers in the bathrooms, which was most important to us as we would be away from running water for a few days. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. We had all our tours pre-planned but they are happy to help if you don't already have plans. The breakfast in the morning was great - a variety of good hot and cold breakfast items as well as plenty of fresh fruit. I would definitely stay here again next time visiting Everglades City. If staying for more than one night, I would probably try to get a regular room instead of the lodge for a private bathroom and a bigger room.
