Ironwood has the best around menu in the Plymouth area. The food quality is excellent and if it's not right they will go the extra mile to make right. The wait-staff, hostesses, and bartenders are always friendly and provide great service. Tonight experience was top notch and I have come to expect that every time I dine here.
AWESOME smokehouse BBQ! Waitress was attentive and quick. LOTS of TV monitors so you can see just about anything sports. A bit loud, but I guess that's to be expected for an upscale sports bar/restaurant! Huge portions, I couldn't finish my salad last time I was here. I had their Ribs and Briskets, brisket done to perfection, and the ribs were juicy and tasty. I could taste the Applewood in the smoke flavor. I will definitely be back here!
Good food, nice bar, lively atmosphere. Lots of TV's, but not just a sports bar - a good thing! :) Steak Tips on appetizer menu a must!
Food was decent, nothing special. I had the wings and they were huge and pretty good but were not marinated long enough. Took about 15 min to get our food at lunch time, which is on the high side. Might return if someone else suggests it but would not choose it myself.
I don't visit here often, but I'm always happy about my food selection when I do. From pizza to burgers to brisket, you've got a lot to choose from, and you won't leave hungry! Even the vegetarian in my family is happy about their selection. Draft selection has definitely improved, from the last time I was there I saw a considerable effort to provide more local craft beers on draft, but they do have a decent bottle selection of you can find something on tap. If you're a sports fan, this is your spot in DTP for your game.
Cheers!
Extensive casual dining menu. Friday evening is especially crowded. If ordering the Maurice salad, pay the extra to have it chopped.
Great food and an even better bar! Lots of options to choose from and bartenders are pretty knowledgeable. Always a great crowd of people inside which is a plus if you like to mingle.
This place is a disgrace. I went there and the bouncer was obnoxious. He acted super rude and insulting to everyone. On top of that the service was terrible and there was hair in the food I ordered.
If you want to go to an overpriced bar with awful food, unsanitary conditions, and employees that treat you terribly come here.
I will never go back to this place and I strongly advise others to avoid. Especially when there are much better bars right around the corner.
Went there about 7 pm for dinner. The food is good, but DON'T get seated anywhere near the back where the bussing station is. Even though it is hidden from view behind a partial wall, we couldn't hear each other over the nearly nonstop DEAFENING crashes of dirty dishes and silverware. Very unpleasant.
I just went here for the first time this evening and I must say, the food was absolutely delicious. I would recommend the bbq beef brisket as it was absolutely wonderful. Their ranch dressing is very good and the dinner salad was amazing. My girlfriend had the southwest chicken salad and it comes in a shell-like bowl which was great as well. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I'm not one to really write reviews.
Great food with a good vibe! Stop in for a beer to watch the game and enjoy a menu filled with incredible options! I absolutely love this place!
Last week they stopped serving food at 1010, this week we wait an hour for a pizza when the place is dead as I've ever seen it. Some chick hanging around the food prep area distracting the food prep crew. The chef could have been trapped in molasses. That being said, our waitress was very nice and did her best, but what is their kitchen doing? Some sloot was playing grab ass with the bouncer all night, I just question their seriousness if this is how they treat a Friday night.
Excellent service always. Friendly staff. Clean. Great location. Food has gone down hill in the past year. Former favorite Cuban sandwich has been downgraded to a marginally glorified ham sandwich. They added an appetizer called "burnt ends" which is maybe the best thing on the menu. Pizza was good the last time I ordered it, but if you want pizza, then you should check out Pizza e Vino just around the corner. Average = 3 stars. Still a good place for drinks in probably the most vibrant small town in metro Detroit.
Good customer service and decent higher end bar food. It's great in the summer because they open up the huge windows. In the evenings they can get really busy and there isn't really anywhere to wait for a table.
Overall not a bad experience the waitress was nice and very good about checking on my party and I, the food however was not very good. I ordered the BBQ player and was very disappointed and my coworker got the ribs and was also disappointed. The first thing that hit me was that the cornbread they advertise isn't even cornbread it's made with cake mix. I'm from the south so I definitely know what cornbread is and how it should be made in both the sweat and salty versions and this here is neither. The BBQ was very bland and the baked beans where way to over peppered for you to taste the actual food. Actually the brisket was pretty good the pulled pork and the ribs where not good. Overall very disappointed at the flavors of the BBQ especially for the price.
