I'm a pretty picky 23 year old so when my girlfriend wanted to try a ramen shop, I was a bit worried. Worry no more.
I had the pork cutlet ramen and it was fantastic. The garlic oil gave the broth such a good flavor. The noodles were made in house and had a perfect consistency.
The staff was attentive and really nice.
One warning: they have chopsticks set out when you sit down. If you don't know how to use them like me, try to learn. It really enhances the feel of the place. Don't worry about looking silly.response / report this review -

Went in December right at lunchtime. They told us it’d be 45, ended up waiting only around 15 so that was already nice. Sat down and ordered right away, our food came in less than 5 minutes. I’m not sure if thats typical for a Ramen place but the place was PACKED so we were definitely anticipating a longer wait for everything.
I tried the vegetarian broth and my husband tried the original pork based one. (Picture is of the vegetarian one). He thought both tasted amazing. I wasn’t even that hungry and I ate the entire bowl! Enjoyed every bite.
The staff was really nice AND attentive as well.

I was craving ramen one evening after work and ended up dragging a bunch of my colleagues to this place. We all ended up enjoying the food. Most of them have been here before but it was my first time. Great broth, the noodle was cooked just right. The place was hopping and by the time we left at 9:30 it was just getting started.

Happened across this gem by chance and it certainly does not disappoint. Friendly staff, and good drinks, but the story is all about the ramen. They provide a variety of spicy and non spicy options, along with some veggie options too. Definitely worth the visit but prepare for long lines during peak times.

i looooove this place!! there's usually a line, but it's well worth the wait. the traditional ramen is so savory and delicious. the pork buns are divine, and the place is just a great spot to hang out and have a quick meal with friends. i've recommended this place a few times and i always get great feedback.
if you get a chance, sit at the bar. you have a great view of the kitchen and it’s a much more interactive experience.response / report this review -

Was visiting Time Square for a few hours on a work trip. Wanted something not so touristy. A friend recommended this plane that was up a few blocks away from Time Square. Man it was so good! Great Service, top Ramen I've had so far. Also, the atmosphere was great.. I still how they welcome everyone customer when they are being seated. They all yell welcome in Japanese I think.. But its so catchy

Great food. Not great service. Well if you're not from Malaysia, I guess it's decent. But the staff could use some tips.
But. The soup. Is. Amazing.
There are several branches here in Malaysia and they are all absolutely yummy but this place has an edge. It's soup is flavorful but lacks the richness that sometimes just coats your tongue. The broth has density and depth and I could sing praises about soup all day.
However, this is very much a noodle bar. Unlike the Asian branches, Asians and Asia Ippudo frequenters watch out, they have very minimal sides. So if you're prepared to only eat noodles, you're good. We found this place though a combination of Google and TripAdvisor, both gave very positive reviews. We decided to wait the 45 minutes they had anticipated our wait to be and enjoyed a beer at the bar. We got a place after 30 minutes and they welcomed us with some sort of Japanese welcome. Food was delicious and service was good and fast. Only(small) issue I had was the seemingly impatience to get us out after it was clear we were not going to order anything else. Understandable (there was a huge line) but still a small con.

Great food, good atmosphere, not too expensive (especially for NYC). Had the chicken wings, and then shared two different ramen, both of which were great. Girlfriend ordered dessert too which she liked, but I can't remember what it was (some chocolate thing), but I remember it came in a decent size portion.

I arrived at Ippudo at 10:50am before they opened their doors at 11am. Already, a line had formed outside the door. Enthusiastic Japanese greetings filled the air as each guest was seated. Their service is very attentive and their food is a must try in NYC! I highly recommend their pork buns ($9) and their Akamaru Ramen ($15). I added a poached egg ($2) which I probably could have gone without.

Food was decent but they have quite a bizarre way of resolving customer service issues. My fiance had ordered a drink at the bar while waiting for our table, but didn't like the way it tasted so she returned it after a few sips, and ordered a different (more expensive) drink. After our meal (which we ordered over $80 of food and drink), we got our check, which still included the returned drink. We thought it was a mistake so we pointed it out to our server, but was told that we still needed to pay it. We asked for a manager, who continued to insist that because nothing was wrong with it, they had to charge us. I explained that I'd understand paying part of it to cover the cost, but it doesn't make sense to charge us full price for a drink that we exchanged with a different one. After going back and forth with the manager, she finally relented and said she'd take it off, just this time. I'm pretty sure it was because tables around us were starting to watch. It seems like a very poor policy that as soon as a customer touches an item, they must be charged full price, even if they end up returning it. Not to mention, the bartender never told us at the time that we'd be charged for it. If so, I would've kept it and drank it. Overall, decent food, but the stubborn customer service attitude was a big turn off, and we definitely won't be going back.

Mmmm this place is delicious! I got the vegetarian ramen. Came here on a whim with some friends around 10:30 last night (Friday) and there was space. Our server was nice and attentive. They have a private lot for parking. The restaurant itself is small but makes it feel like an intimate yet casual spot. The price range is reasonable.

BEST CHICKEN BUN I HAVE EVER EATEN! I loved this place! Although the wait was a little long, 40 mins & the bar area is small & crowded, it's totally worth it. The food was delicious & the staff were attentive. The atmosphere was great too, the only reason I give 4 stars is because the staff were a little pushy about us leaving. I understand it's a popular & busy place but they cleared our whole table while & left eating on my own because I wasn't finished & my friends were. They then linger around waiting your to pay so they can shoo you out. Worth it for the food though if I'm honest. Highly recommend.
