If you want to waste your money on poor service, go right ahead. I wasted $2,000 and three month waiting on parts and the bike would still not run. Took it finally to MS Motorsport in Gastonia, NC and it turned out to be a $50 fix. Never again with those incompetent folks.
I recently stopped by Interstate Cycle looking at Polaris ATVs. Everyone was helpful and friendly. Austin showed me around the store and was very helpful with all of my questions. I found what I was looking for and made a purchase that day. The entire team was helpful from sales to finance. I had a great buying experience.
Super friendly establishment, not pushy and not on top of you when your browsing. I dealt with Austin And highly recommend him being your sales person.
I have been taking my two bikes to Interstate for tire changes and state inspections for the past 2 years, since moving to NC. I chose them for proximity to my house, but have always had a good experience with servicing and pricing when I go there.
Worth mentioning that neither of my bikes are brands Interstate sells, and one is still under warranty (Kawi) or i'd likely get service done here as well - I do most of my simple and medium level servicing myself.
I gave 4 stars due to the high personnel turnover, as I always seem to have a new face greet me when i go back for annual services, but overall I will return here for what i need.
I used to be pretty happy with the service dept. My only experience has been dropping off wheels to have new tires mounted and balanced. Price to do that is now $45 each vs. $20 to $25 a year ago. I like the staff at Interstate but the price for a 15 minute job just is not reasonable. It's not terribly convenient for me either so I guess it's time to find a new place.
These guys are friendly and very knowledgeable on the products they sale!
This review is for service department. I am being very optimistic in giving 3 stars because truthfully my experience was more like 2 stars.
I called ahead to get basic maintenance on my bike. Was told they were booked for about a week out. So I asked if I could make an appointment for next Wednesday rather than leave my bike for a week. They booked the appointment and I dropped the bike off the following Wednesday. They never called me back on Wednesday to say it was done but I made plans to get a ride to pick it up Thursday.
I called again Thursday morning and it still wasn't done. Service manager said he would call by end of day. He didn't. I called again Fiday morning and svc manager said he would check and call me back. He didn't. I finally went down there Friday afternoon and it was done.
When I got the bike home I realized there was a document pouch missing that had my insurance and registration. Called service manager to see if they had it. He said he would call back. He didn't. I called two more times. Never received a call back. Clearly they could care less that they had my insurance and registration. It is so painful dealing with them that I decided it was just easier to order duplicates.
So basically my experience with them has been a never-ending series of phone calls that aren't returned.
I would say I won't go back but unfortunately as far as I know they are the only game in town for full service. I just hope next time is much better or I may have to go all the way to Charlotte.
From salesman to service to parts interstate has always been great! Could not ask for anything better!
Great group of people! always a positive visit with service, parts, and sales
Great help , outstanding customer service. I would recommend them to everyone for service and sales.thank you
We had a absolutely amazing experience, Frank was a great salesman, with a good sense of humor, and lots of knowledge about the products. We bought a Polaris outlaw 110. We couldn't be happier and will buy from them again for sure.
We have bought a lot of different machines over the years at several different places. We found Interstate Cycle and nobody can beat them. They have the best staff that are so much fun to work with. We have bought 2 RZRs and 2 4 Wheelers off them and sent at least 3 of our friends that have bought machines off them. We have used the service and parts department and they are equally fantastic. You can get accessories and parts cheaper than you can find them on the internet. We got our previous machines off some of the other local dealerships and they wouldn't do anything off MSRP and the the service department didn't care much about you after you had already bought the machine. These guys are different they talk to you like you have been their friend for years. We drive almost 2 hours to buy from Interstate Cycle and it's worth it. We would definitely recommend them.
SERIOUSLY!!!! I have to give this shop a 1. THEY STATED THAT THEY LOOKED OVER MY M109. They did not. I have Oil leaks coolant leaks and who knows what else. Do not by a use bike from these folks. Even though NC laws protect shops like this with the word AS IS. You still can purse small claims court. If this has happen to others post your complaint and a CLASS ACT SUIT can be filed against shop. They are very nice before they get your money. When they got it they can care less about you. So 1 star Interstate Cycle. BUYERS BEWARE. This statement is my opinion and the truth as I see it.
Addendum :
I first gave Interstate Cycle 5 stars I am now rating them 2 stars. This is my opinion and the truth as I see it. I will NEVER do business with Interstate Cycles in LIFE. I suggest for everyone to stay away. Frank Cline is the best thing they have going for them. Jessie is a PRICK to but it nicely. John from service is a nice guy but works for the owner so he has to do what he says. I did have a bald tire when I purchase the bike. I had it for a day I called back and the owner replaced it for free no problem. That was great customer service! Then some days go by and I bring the bike to my shop Kevin Powell Motorsports to do a recall that Interstate Cycle said they will not do. So for a favor I asked my shop to just look over my bike. I had 2 leaking forks that were OLD leaking fork seals both sides. I also had a bad back rotor and front brake pads because of folk leaks. I called Interstate they said bring it in so I did. They simply blamed everyone else and said " we wont fix it for free we already gave you a back tire" The owner did offer a 10% discount which was a joke because even with the discount Kevin Powell Motorsports was 20 % cheaper. This bike shouldn't have pass inspected despite Interstate saying they inspected the bike and it PASSED . Bottom line they are good when you pay cash for the bike but not good at realizing there error. BUYER BEWARE!!! P.S. Jessie really is a PRICK he tries to talk down to you like you know nothing about motorcycles and he is the Sales Manager.

Best and most pain less experience I ever had with buying a motorcycle. I named my price and Frank took the price to the boss deal was made. I was even late to pick up the bike after hours, but Frank and crew said "no problem see you when you get here". Seriously Interstate Cycle is the best Power Sport place in NC!!! I will buy again . Thank you Frank and the whole Interstate Family.
I needed some specialized heated riding gear that is hard to find. I have looked online and at several other outdoor riding stores and no one could help me. Frank Cline took the time to look up what I wanted and ordered it for me. Fast shipping to the store and excellent customer service. Great experience. Will return and recommend to friends!
