Practically grew up at this place. I went 3 or 4 times a week while i was in middle, and high school. Met some of the best people, and made memories I will never forget. Haven't been back for 8 or more years, but I will at some point!
Won’t be returning until they get air conditioning. It’s unbearable in there. Not even a fan was on.
The staff yelled at me that i couldnt pick my son up or skate backwards to help him while he was struggling to skate. Yet the staff was skating backwards and all flying all over the place while my son gets ran over. Very unimpressed with this skating facility.
Today at Interskate 91 some mid aged man about 40 years old pick up my two-year-old baby held him down while he hit him. I of course screamed get off my baby! I told management and that I wanted to reported to the police. They told me the police were on their way. Meanwhile the Manager told him he could leave without even getting his name. My husband called Inner skate 91 looking for an apology. The manager yelled at him and said "he's all right!" and hung up the phone.
The police officer that took the report informed me that the establishment inner skate 91 doesn't have working cameras. In the building or in the parking lots.
How is that ok or safe with an establishment with that many children there ?
I haven't used roller blades since my childhood, doing it with my nephews was pretty fun. Plus the laser tag game was great and fun. There are several other things to do there too; machine games such as a mini basketball game, driving game, etc., with earnable tickets to buy stuff like candy, toys or your own personal roller blades. Restaurant accessible, lockers for the public use, an area for children to play, two different types of roller blades to use, music being played, plenty of places to sit.
My grown adult boyfriend skated with the little kids, it was adorable
The food is expensive, the tables are sticky, its really hot in here, and the skates are very uncomfortable if you go I suggest you bring your own.
I had a fun time with my friends and my family there. And I got help from one of the workers when they noticed that I wasn't very experienced and needed help. The workers were nice to me and everyone else. I am actually going there in 2 days for my birthday and I am looking forward to it!
So thank you for making sure everyone had a good time there!
My son and I attended a Thursday Matinee from 1 to 4 PM.
The staff didn't open the doors until at least 5 minutes after 1 PM. Once inside it was evident that the 3 teenage staff members were not enough coverage for the entrance, skate rental, concession stand, redemption station for prize tickets and DJ and Light booth.
There was no enforcement of the safety rules on the rink floor itself and at one point there was a woman on the skate floor wearing flip flops and pushing a stroller while one of the staff members was chatting with her and cooing over the baby!
Another staff member showed up around 2:30 and there was more floor coverage but the opening staff, all female, seemed more intent on skating with the new male arrival than overseeing the skaters. The practice lane for beginners is helpful as it had been a number of years since I was skating and needed a while to get back into the groove.
