It's a great place if want just get extra credit you need to get into better one or definitely give you more under your belt before moving on to bigger transition think right word great for that in many ways Getting comfortable with a schedule or people Being on time learning how to go to school in a better manner or fashion for future you Gives you a better jump on bigger n better things.. If need one class u can go here take it n tgen go to a state college.. Plus you can get extra credit while u are there they offer a lot because they know people of all ages must or need this place to give them the hand up they need n they don't my give anything to you but help n then help u move forward not be there forever they would like to be bigger but I think maybe they like being a place that does want actually help people like a ladder n not get recognition which they do all that graduate is because of them making it not easy but attainable to many who thought they would never go to College never ming graduate ok that makes peoples lives move forward n if they are proud them then they will n can accomplish anything and all because they did college

My first college experience was here and it wasn't a particularly good one. The building is nice with a very comfortable atmosphere, though the parking lot is a nightmare. There is not WiFi through the entire building, which is infuriating for a student with an on campus class that is also entirely on the internet. I feel like for the moment, the school is having a bad time transitioning to technology. Staff is ridiculously friendly and helpful, unexpected for a place in Gardner.

Rip off school, I have credits from a university and this school tried to make me re-take the classes over I had already took and passed. I withdrew from the classes and I'm so done with this school. Rip Off!!!!

Making me pay over $1,300 when I called to withdraw my classes but they said I didn't call. If I don't pay, they send it to a collection agency and ruin my credit. They are just trying to steal my hard earned money which I have to pay for college.

What could be a wholly nurturing and affordable source for higher education is bogged down with the weight of state employee "lifers" who don't care about anything other than running out the clock each day so they can retire with as much money as possible down the line. The upper management is at a complete disconnect with what the college needs and would rather not have their names or faces listed on any effort that might come back to bite them and dump them out of their over-paid positions of comfort. This fact is only highlighted by the recent decision for the school to invest millions of dollars into a new science building when the college is already struggling with the weight of massive debt as-is. The budget cuts seem to always be made from the bottom-up at great expense to the inner workings of the school and the benefit of the students as a whole, whereas the individuals arguably responsible for the poor financial state of the college are allowed to maintain their own bloated six-figure salaries (that us tax payers pay for!) with no accountability for their own ineptitude.
It really is a shame, because MWCC is home to so many wonderful and brilliant people (both staff and students) who really work every day to try to make the college the best it can be, but almost all of those individuals are adjunct faculty or underpaid "ground-level" employees with no say on how the school should be run. Maybe in another ten years when the tenured faculty and the (unnecessarily high number of deans) finally retire the school will be in a good place to get some fresh blood pumping through it's life veins again, but for now it seems that the college is stuck in a rut of excess waste and zero accountability that allows the wrong sorts of people to thrive while the student body suffers because of it.response / report this review -

Great school. but I think if we're paying $300.00 for a book and paying $8.00 on top of that for shipping a signature should be required from UPS and some type of insurance on it. So cases like your book being stolen off your front steps don't happen. Then actually getting in contact with someone to help replace it is even worse. Bookstore pretty much said I'm on my own. I've lost track of how many voicemails I left.

One of the best community colleges around. The administration and staff for the most part are great and work well with the students. The professors on the other hand are hit or miss. I've had some great ones and some that shouldn't even have their teaching license. Overall I would recommend coming here but research your professor's before you sign up for classes.
