A coffee shop for serious coffee people. Appropriate pastry treats are available.

Fantastic oat milk cappuccino. My buddy got the Snow Peak Green Tea, which was also delicious and exactly the right strength. Staff was super friendly, to boot!!

I was there yesterday and the staff was kind, courteous, offered samples and so much more. The cold-brew was amazing!

High end coffee shop with a clear high brow feel! You'll pay no less than four dollars for most coffee but the quality befits the Prime Minister! Also, their retail is beautifully designed for a true Chicago feel with a less tourism vibe.

My favorite location of this coffee shop. Great coffee, great service, great cafe, not to busy. Take a moment and explore the building. Amazing representation of the architecture that made Chicago an international architectural icon.

Intelligentsia is a Chicago treasure and one of the best coffee locations in town. Service here is always very friendly and efficient and this location. The coffee is consistently excellent. The new remodel looks great too.

A highly celebrated and nationally ranked coffee shop. It's only here in Chicago. Visiting the different locations is a vast because they are all so different regarding atmosphere. This is for those who love fruitier coffees and can pick up on citrus notes and other flavor nuances. Otherwise, just visit the Starbucks down the street. There is a restroom here, but it's downstairs and you must be a patron to use.

If you like very good coffe (not like Starbucks) you must go there. You won't be disappointed.

Very friendly staff, very approachable and helpful for newcomers to the full line of espresso based coffee drinks (delicious, by the way). Plenty of space to sit and enjoy your ceramic cup of coffee that they made just for you, or take it to go in a paper cup. Between Intelligentsia and Rom (Franklin & Monroe) this is what a top notch coffee experience should be. So walk passed Starbucks (with their Starbucks terms and slightly burnt coffee beans) and treat yourself to a the real deal.
