Trendy interesting dueling piano bar with great happy hour drink prices. Very talented musicians. Highly recommend arriving early to avoid crowds and cover, especially on weekend nights. Came here for a friend's happy hour party she won - easy to enter and the staff is great to work with. Great place to take people visiting the city.

Great venue for live music. The band were all multi-instrumentalists, and took requests too. There's a healthy choice of beers & bar snacks (all nice, that we tried), the staff were helpful & friendly. Great night, would return.

A magnet for drunks, on a Saturday night this place is packed and perfect for making a spectacle of yourself. The crowd spills onto the stage, so you can't even see the musicians playing their average sing-a-long covers. Luckily, drinks are reasonably priced for this neighborhood, making up for the $10 cover charge and allowing for customers to drink enough to tolerate the crowd. I know plenty of people who like this environment, I'm just not one of them.

I've heard a lot about this place because of the dueling pianos, HUGE bucket drinks, etc. We (some coworkers and myself) ended up here because my manager won a party and invited all of us. She was given a table, 2 drink tix p/person worth $1.50 each (your WELL drinks are only $1.50 each), complimentary appetizer buffet. For what it was it was actually pretty cool. I wasn't thrilled with the appetizer buffet (fried corn fritters?, fried mushrooms, cheese & crackers, fried beer battered chicken tenders and egg rolls). I think I liked the fried mushrooms out of everything and they could use more dipping sauces, all they had was ranch. I mean it was complimentary so I can't complain too much but it seems the choices were pieced together as a last minute thought.

The guys playing the pianos were pretty cool and very talented. You could request songs and they would play and sing them and they actually know a lot of songsor found the music to them and played it. Either way, really cool. I would definitely go back here but I would skip the complimentary appetizers and try one of those huge bucket drinks lol.

So much fun! The musicians are something to see! Hopin around from instrument to instrument. They also sell cocktails in a bucket. Lots of ice though. Still a great experience! Loved it, definitely going to go back sometime.

An enjoyable place to visit if you're really into karaoke, dancing, and piano bars. They piano players are very talented and can play and sing a large genre of songs, which can be requested. A nice place for office events as well, but can get cramped and crowded quickly with the way the seating is set up.

Amazingly talented musicians! Best time ever! First time to Howl at the Moon for my friend Sarah's Bachelorette party. Our waiter with the beard was super awesome and we couldn't of asked for a better service!! Anyone coming to Chicago SHOULD most definitely come here for the live entertainment just like a concert. Wish we lived closer but the Canadians will return again ! Eh!!

Went here to celebrate my friend's 24th birthday the other night and it was bumping. For real, I didn't quite know what to expect but everyone was there to have a good time.
The piano-lead covers were a ton of fun and the specials were reasonable! Also great food, my friends and I will definitely be back.

It was a fun night full of wonderful music. The performers were very entertaining and the drinks were not too expensive. Don't plan on eating too much though because food is not their specialty.

Very unusual place for European guys I think and very enjoyable. A live jukebox with two pianos and sometimes drums and bass and guitar. The atmosphere is great as people are "singing" too. Smoking is also, like in Europe, a good way to discuss with new people, especially as you can speak without shouting 😊I put 4* because sound is a bit too loud, for me, inside

I was so extremely disappointed with my trip to Howl at the Moon Chicago location. I have been to the San Antonio location and the difference is unreal. The San Antonio location was so much more thought out with the layout, in the way that people actually had space on the dance floor to dance rather than too many tables packed right in front of the band. The Chicago location barely has any room for standing guests - which is just dumb if you're going to let patrons in without table reservations. I understand that management wants to offer customers tables, but have a separate location for them rather than directly on the dance floor. I went with a bachelorette party, there were 9 of us, and we stayed for maybe 30 minutes because we were so uncomfortable and had no where to stand/dance. We were also extremely disappointed with the band and thoroughly unimpressed compared to the band we saw in San Antonio. The music was drab and not entertaining. I wish I hadn't made all 9 of my girlfriends pay for the skip the line passes because it was just a waste of our money. Many of the people at tables even seemed uncomfortable and upset that they spent the money they did to get a table. If management was smart, they would move locations to host a better layout for those who want to dance and stand, and still be able to seat guests at tables.

What a fun place! Big groups of people. Looks like it's mainly after hour or happy hour co workers. Live band plays all evening and the drinks are resealable price. I met my girl friend and her co workers there one night. I Will definitely bring my crowd next time.

I almost want to give BC one star just so it doesn't get more crowded than it already is!The cocktails are creative and strong. The bartenders REALLY know how to accentuate the liquors rather than just piling on syrups and bitters until its a total sugar bomb. Not here. These guys are the real deal.I love that there is a "seasonal" menu and if you really know what you want, they can customize a drink based on what flavor profile you're really craving.
