First Time on a plane. Or in airport. Southwest and the Rep Ken and Mark who assisted us with the wheel chairs were awesome. We did a have a little wait (3mins) the airport is pretty big. But overall happy customer.

Love the airport! Most convenient mid-size airport in the country. Also, great design, food options, shops, coffee-shops etc. I think they even have a brewery (I doubt they actually brew there, but still a plus). Finally, its new and efficient.

Great airport, plenty of space to spread out and very clean. The Starbucks in Terminal A across from Harry and Izzy’s is terribly understaffed; it doesn’t matter what time of day you arrive/depart your wait will be excruciating for a simple Americano. This has been going on for years. Overall great airport though!

The airport is very nice and almost always clean. The design architecture and art at the facility is very nice too, a significant improvement over the old terminal. There are a couple of downsides, one being that the airport is virtually dead in the morning and late at night when it comes to stores/restaurants. Another, which is more annoying than anything, is the ridiculously low speed limit of 30mph for nearly 2 miles when entering or leaving the terminal. It would also be nice to have more international flights without having to connect to JFK or ATL, but this is common with small airports.

I love our Indianapolis airport! I’ve traveled with my family and by myself both on international and domestic flights. This airport and the parking is easy to navigate. I really like the Delta Airline curbside check in. There’s a good variety of food in the general area. Always pretty with decorations.

Great new airport! Small and easy to get through. Quick and easy! Southwest even connects here.

My husband works for American Airlines (different hub) so I'm @ the IIA on a regular basis. Pick up & drop off is very convenient. We've utilized the parking garage while on trips a little $$$ but once again convenient.
The airport is always clean, easy to maneuver throughout & has a diverse selection of restaurants. The noise pollution is @ a minimum inside of the airport one of my biggest complaints @ other airports.

One of the more pleasant airports in the country! Some of the best food options are before security, and terminal maps were virtually IMPOSSIBLE to find once behind security. Docking a star for that — the best of offerings are only as good as the ability to find them. But all in all, a great airport to arrive and depart from!

One of the nicest and cleanest airports I've ever been to. The staff were super friendly and even TSA was beyond what you typically get. They were all excellent members of the airport.

A smaller airport than most of the others I have been to but I thought it was really nice. I liked that there was not a long wait and that the majority of food and shops were not to far from the gate I needed to get to. Not to mention that it had a nice open area with a lot of food and a few shops. one other thing I liked was that the rental car terminal was easy to get to and they even had a gas station right as you get off the interstate.

Indianapolis is the best airport in the United States, by a long way. Massive terminal that's nice and open, with plenty of space to move around and to see planes. The check in space is right at the entrance and the customer service was excellent. The TSA area was fast, little hassle if you a prepared in advance. Once inside the gate area, its is not very crowded. Runway design is excellent, meaning you always take off on time and get a good view of the city which ever way you go.

One of the best airports in the country, and always a pleasant experience.

There is a large gas station right on the way into the airport, great for those of us that often forget to refill the tanks on rental cars. The signs and directions are large and clear. I particularly like the open spaces around the airport.

The design of the airport itself is so simple, and so user friendly. A large open common area with everything visible around the perimeter. A large seating area with comfortable seats, great for naps. The viewing window is a perfect touch.

Always clean, tidy and a great experience overall!

It took us a long time to get used to this new airport. It's a big departure from the old one.
This is a large open plan and it's bright and we'll lit. It's like a Mall with an abundance of food choices and other retail locations.
We have flown out of and into this Airport many times and have had no problems. It's layout works pretty well but for first timers it can be confusing. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
It's May again and we love to race cars! Indianapolis International Airport will be busy this month.

I agree with others that it's a generally pleasant experience but some nitwit turned the airport access to the wrong side, facing away from the city. Had they done that right it would have been the best airport in America.

Architecturally pleasant airport but the devil is in the details. The terminal opens away from the city which means the drive into town is twice as long as it should be and there is no reliable public transportation. Indy fancies itself as a convention city which means that this airport taxes everything. It adds up in terms of time and money if you fly into here often.

The real issue is flights and schedules. There aren't many. In fact, this airport is usually mostly empty. If you miss one or if it's cancelled due to weather, you may be cooling your heels here for days as my wife and I recently were. It took 60 hours to get out. In the future, I'll probably fly into Chicago and rent a car to get to Indy.

One of the better designed airports. Great shops/food in the center before security. The only issue is that it takes 10 min longer getting there from the East.

Clean, spacious airport with usually clear signage, and a good number of dining and shopping options despite the compact layout. Most staff and security are friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are clean and even smell OK, usually, which is rare in an airport. My favorite part is the many local restaurants that are represented here, so it's not just giant chains.

Love walking in the terminal with the the flashing space lights like I just came out of Star Trek! Haha my first time here.

Sunday on an early AM flight dropped my car off at terminal (Alamo) and walked right in. Security was a breeze and very efficient. They even open up extra lines if it starts getting too long. I've been at a number of airports where you just get to wait.

Terminal is clean. Save money on buying water bring an empty bottle and fill it up at one of the filtered water stations near the restrooms or pay $3.60+ for a bottle your choice!!!

I came in concourse B number of eating places many aren't open before 6 am Starbucks is and so is Shapiro's Delicatessen. A candy store looms to my right begging me to come in and take a gander but I won't be tempted!!! (Just glad it isn't a donut shop!!)
