Absolutely amazing service! One of my favorite airports to go too! Planespotting there is great, the spots are amazing and the workers there may even let you out on the ramp if your lucky. The ground crews there are great at there jobs! If you could fly into Columbus, you should!

It's not a private airport. There are various businesses with flight departments based here. Cummins and Toyota, among others.

Kenneth it's a public airport. The only things that are off limits to folks are the various hangars around the airfield unless prior authorization has been given. I know this because I work at the FBO here in the terminal and I also got my pilot's license here also.
