Useless!!!
Too many visits needed to fix one tooth!!! Too long waiting time to answer the phone call and to have an appointment!!! Overcrowded!!!

After a few unsuccessful visits, I was switch to another student per my request. This student went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was positive. Alyssa went above and beyond, I am much more satisfied in her care. Thank you for waiving the cost of my last visit and for taking the time to care for me in such short notice!

I went for my first appt two weeks ago and sat in the waiting room two hours and paid them $67 only for them to ask preliminary questions. Mind you they had my name and DOB wrong and they couldn't find me in the system and by the time they did I was literally the last patient seen right before closing. Today I paid them to do a thorough oral exam and paid them $35 just for that and waste 3 hours of my day. I am losing money from missing work because I work business hours. I am losing money for paying them to ask me questions and come up with a simple plan of doing a filling. Just do the x Ray's, do the filing and move on. Now they have a while plan that they came up with when I originally went in for them to focus one ONE tooth. If I had insurance I wouldn't be coming here. I understand it's a school but that many appointments to assess​ and ask questions and still not doing any work is the most inconvenient. Why does it cost that much to be ask questions? This is not the experience that I expected. I will not be going back to lose money from missing work to pay to be asked questions. This type of place is for people who don't work business days or hours. Who like to throw out money to be asked questions and that like sitting in dentist chairs by yourself because your student can't get her swipes and has to chase everyone around. It's unorganized. I just feel bad for the sweet student who thought I was going be her next patient she could tally some assignments off her list. Sorry better luck next time. Get organized and stop wasting people's time and money. If you didn't schedule that many appts without treating the patients you would have more successful rates of finishing treatment. Not just starting evaluations and never hearing back from these patients.

TL; DR:
Pros: They'll take anyone even if you have no insurance
Cons: Read below. Proceed at your own leisure and risk.
Don't expect to get anything done in a timely manner. Students might be thorough--though why they missed 3 cavities and a crack in one of the previously existing fillings during the initial X-ray is completely lost upon me--however, scheduling system is usually so backed up, and the departments so disconnected from each other, that you'll be enduring MONTHS OF PAIN before any progress is made.
First dentist we were assigned to in Endo department chipped the tooth next to the he was working on, then had the decency to tell us to find another dentist to resolve the issue.
The second one we were assigned to was more polite, but when the patient tried to get in touch with her to make bite adjustments that were at first overlooked, she proceeded to cut us off by saying the "policy change" does not allow doctors to get in touch with the patients individually without going through their convoluted and ridiculously connected phone line/ system.
If you're trying to make payment by installment plan, you better hope you have at least a solid hour of phone time each week just to get all the information straightened out. Their ultimate goal is to pump out as many shoddily qualified dentists as possible and collect the tuition, not to serve the community around. They messed up the nerves in my husband's mouth, and pulled out all of my his teeth in three sections and didn't offer any Pain medication other than ibuprofen 800's,he was in a lot of pain.They messed up his nerves so badly it's been two years and he's still in pain daily.

Dr. Heinz is a great orthodontist student. They give uninsured people the chance to get dental work done while so many dentist ream them because they don't have "bargaining power."

First they took out a tooth that they could of saved second when they took it out, they left pieces of the tooth still in and broke the tooth next too it. Plus the professor gave credit to the student for extrating my tooth when they didn't do any of the work. And now all I feel is pain

I had a cavity filled here. I was tentative at first because they are students but it went really well and was super cheap.
