Best Indian food in Columbia. Amazing staff and team who value customer experience.
Best Indian place in town, and easily one of my favorite restaurants. A little bit on the expensive side, but the people are friendly, the food is delicious and they are generous with portions.
Tip: when they ask what heat level you want the scale is actually 1-20, not 10. Having grown up eating Korean food, but not being a crazy spice head I find a 15 to be just right!
Introduced to me by a friend who grew up in India and claimed this was the best/most authentic Indian food in town. I have worked my way though much of the menu and have never been disappointed! My family and friends have loved it as well! The staff and service are above and beyond; they have been involved involved in many special days including birthdays and an engagement!
I had a large order, I placed it online and was allowed to pay at the store. Most places don't allow that, it was helpful. I was feeding several people. The food was amazing, everyone was impressed and the prices are great. I will definitely eat there more often. The customer service was also great! I was helped immediately and my order was ready for pickup. Awesome place!
Aye! There are recipes out there, but the real deal is top notch downtown COLUMBIA. MISSOURIgreat city, mayor great, commission great, health department protecting the people and the law enforcement keeps it safe Support local and don't forget to ride the public transportation to the fabulous mallthen stay at the Tiger HotelIndia's House should be everywhere
Delicious every time. Fantastic lunch buffet. The only problem I've ever had is finding parking nearby but its worth a long walk.
This is my favorite Indian restaurant in town. The family that owns this place is a wonderful bunch, and the food is like something you'd expect from a big city restaurant. It is not a cheap eat for dinner, though you get more than what you pay for, but the lunch buffet on the weekends is one of our family's favorite go-tos, and the price is a spot-on.
The food might be good. We have been waiting for a very long time (at least a half hour) for our order. Extremely short staffed on a busy Friday night. Staff are very pleasant and obviously doing the best they can but stillare we spoiled? 😔😕 This is a later edit. As it turns out the food was pretty good. the service again was very pleasant and I can only assume someone called in and they were short-staffed. That comped us on some soup that we ordered that they forgot to bring initially.
Sparkling clean front and back. Fresh, delicious food. I travel the US eating Indian food. Usually there's either good food with bad service, or vs. Here, the service is friendly and knowledgeable. Go here.
It was our first time visiting. Fancy environment, with great prices. Defently recommend the buffet between 11 and 2.30. Need more mango fluff in my life after that!
The garlic cheese naan was amazingso much cheese! Everything I've had there was great. Not a super interesting aesthetic, but a nice place.
I absolutely love this place. I have been here multiple times and i have never had a bad experience. The staff is great and are always willing to help you order and try new things! Buffet is only at lunch so if you're trying Indian for the first time go during lunch so you can sample it all!
Super friendly. Great food. Ive eaten here several times and every time has been great experience. They even saved our food for us while we were at Ragtag!
The food and service were awesome. And they were very patient as we've peppered them with questions about different things. It was a nice and clean dining environment.
If you're a vegetarian, you will love this place. Good options for Indian Vegetarian Food, unlike the other one in town. Some of my non vegetarian friends(Indians) detest this place, god knows why, some really like it and always come here for the buffet. American and British friends love this place. Buffet is worth what you pay for, specially the pakoras and different curries. All in all a standard Indian restaurant catered towards American audience. Have been enough times to say worth going there for a meal at least.
Amazing food, great experience. Good people
I haven't tried their entrees yet, but their buffet is delicious! The service is also excellent. I'll be back.
Before eating here i thought Tajmahal is the best Indian restaurant in Columbia but India's House take that crown now. Everything i tried was delicious - chicken briayni, chicken and beef dishes. Excellent pricing, nice family friendly environment. Can be crowded sometime. I wish they had more space like Tajmahal. Highly recommended.
I have been to a total of three Indian restaurants in my life, this being the third on a recent expedition. Very spur of the moment dinner choice chosen just by driving through downtown Columbia and my dinner mate was an Indian cuisine virgin.
We shared the '"India's House Feast" and it was a ton of food even for two very hungry men and everything was excellent. We requested spice level as '10 out of 10' and it was still not overwhelming - not a big deal but worthy of note. The star of the show was a yellow curry in the 3rd course that came out with the lamb. Not sure what it was but it was awesome. Lots of basmati (they even asked if we wanted more) and copious amounts of naan to soak up sauce and become bilious. Highly recommended!
India's House is hands-down the best Indian restaurant I've tried in Missouri. The food is authentic, the service is great, and the prices are fair. Give this place a try!
