Salon was welcoming and staff was very nice. I came in for highlights and cut with Brew. See was very nice however seemed to be overbooked with other appointments. I didn't get highlights but instead all over color which is not what I wanted. I love the cut it was really cute but the color was not the blonde I was looking for. I even showed a picture but that was useless. As she dries it I could tell it was too yellow. Looked as if I had rust in my hair. I got home in differently lighting and was just sickmy hair looked like it had urine in it. I made another appointment to have it corrected. She seemed irritated that I wanted it corrected. Hurried through highlighting my roots so now I have orange/yellow hair with white roots. To top it off I had to pay another $40 on top of the $100 to have it corrected and it was worse. I tried to be patient but after a month of brassy hair I paid another large sum of money to have someone else correct it. Just disappointing to pay $140 not.to mention my time to get results of Wal-Mart boxed hair color.

Impulse Salon & Spa is a great salon with a fun atmosphere. The stylist continue to grow learn through continuing education. Impulse gives back to the community by having great Christmas open houses every year where they give away many prizes. I highly recommend them!

I love this place! Wonderful, friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff. Tricia does great spa work! She also did my makeup for my wedding day, and I have never felt more beautiful :)

Absolutely love this salon!! I’ve been getting my hair done here since I was 7. Wonderful people, atmosphere and all are extremely talented!! I️ get my hair done by Logan and she is awesome, sweet and very skilled at giving you what you want. Recently have been having issues with adult acne and Tricia has made a huge difference for my face and skin overall!!! She’s an absolutely miracle worker. she’s so much fun and beyond talented and is there to give you her all to achieve the results you want!! Amazing place!

I am editing my review. My husband gifted me a groupon of salon package here. At my first visit, I was treated like a queen. Ms. Tricia did a good facial massage and I was extremely pleased. I had given a five star. But yesterday I had another appointment with Ms. Bree ( I think that's her name) for my second visit. Someone was kind enough to offer the complimentary drink when I got there. I am giving that a star. I was few minutes early. But Ms Bree took me right in. The second star is for that. I was given hair shampoo. Then she applied conditioner on my hair and went away. I wasn't offered any magazine to pass time. Worst of all, I was facing a trash can. I thought I will be moved from there when she does the scalp massage. There was no scalp massage. When she came back, I asked if I could get a magazine. But she said I was done. Good for me she did blowdry my hair and did not leave me like a chicken. I
Lessons learned:
Never, never forget the brochure they give it you when you go for your visits.
Open your mouth and tell them what you need.
May be I would have been treated differently if she knew I had the pampering package not the hair care package.

Poor ambience. Bree was very rude and didn't even offer a magazine while getting my hair done. I was made to sit in front of the trash can. Rude. Just rude. Unsatisfactory experience.

Went to get my hair done for prom (only because my usual hair dresser was out of town) and I showed him a picture of beautiful side-swept vintage curls and came out looking like I was wearing a helmet made of my own hair. He teased my entire head to the point of tears because he did it so hard. Wish I could give 0 stars, terrible experience.

They are very inviting. Right off,they offered me a drink and them my fiance and my 2 year old a drink and a sucker 💗💗
Jaylyn was amazing!! And I definitely owe her a bigger tip She will be getting it later this week!! She talked me through stuff she joked It was a great experience!! And I absolutely love my hair!!💇💞 I can't wait for my next visit.

I've really tried to like this salon because it's local and convenient, and the front desk receptionists are always very nice. However, today was the last time we will go there. I called to make an appointment for my 15 year old to get a specific cut. I was very clear in asking for someone who was very good at cuts, especially looking at a picture, and cutting that style. I was reassured several times, "yes, this ia the right fit and she can get you in today!" Skeptical at the availability, I said, "we don't mind waiting until next week or longer even, just to get the right person-who's very good with cuts". Nope. I was reassured again, this was a senior stylist. Long story short, my daughter took in two very clear photos of the exact hair style she was aiming for, which was the Juilane Hough cut--longer in the front, slightly shorter in back, but styled beachy- wavy. And she came out with a curled under, blown out, MUCH too short bob, that looked like a middle aged house-wife. It was completely not anything close to the photo. I was so disappointed.. When they told me the cut was $55 I was shocked. The owner dropped it to $45 trying to explain how his stylists travel all over and teach classes. My daughter later told me the stylist glanced at the picture in the beginning and then left it by the sink not looking at it again. I wouldn't mind paying the $55, but the cut was so not anything close to what she asked for. I should have known better. I tried this salon over a year ago a couple of times but the stylist I used talked to her co-workers the entire time.

I have been going to Impulse for over three years and love the salon. I get everything from hair color to massages and waxing done there. I would not go anyplace else for my hair. I love, love Margorie as a stylist! The salon is very professional, fun and has a great relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend it.
