There's not to many places that you can go into and order a soda pop and play darts! I have never eaten here, but I have heard that there food is quite good. It's a family pub, fun, clean & friendly! It's a beautiful place of history! Try their peach beer, it's fantastic!

Let me start out by saying my friends and I had already had food to eat and already had our drinks elsewhere. My friend recommended this place to check out, so that's what we did.
That being said, this is one of the coolest and one of the most unique settings I've ever been in inside of Florida. I haven't seen a historic building made into an establishment like this, in Florida.
I thought it was really nice inside. It's too bad the receipts I got don't list the bartenders name, but he was courteous and served us even though we ordered less than your typical guests. He was engaging and easy to talk to, and gave us suggestions on various beers.
We came in on 12/17/17 at 3 pm if that helps.
My friend ordered cheesesticks and ate them all (so I assume good), and I had the Bells Christmas Draft, and it tasted great! A darker beer that tasted like an IPA.
Moreover, they have a pretty extensive beer list on a chalkboard that shows the kegs of beer they have on tap, and they roll out new kegs periodically. It'll be interesting to visit again to see the selection.
Not the best place to go to see the game, as the two TV's at the bar are kind of in odd positions. There is a big screen on the wall directly opposite of the bar, so if you're sat at a table, it shouldn't be too bad.
The atmosphere here is wonderful though. A lot of dart boards, a Foozeball table, and a pool table to keep you entertained.

Excellent bar serving British and American classics that are sure to satisfy your taste buds. Also features 10 dartboards which makes the Icehouse a great place to go to have fun with friends.

Great atmosphere to just relax. Food is very good and served in a timely manor. The best draw is the craft beer selection. There are lots of beers on draft all the time, but the rotating beers are the main draw for me. Lots of seasonal beers and a few small batch beers from a wide verity of brewerys. Love the place.

Oh my gosh I love their fish and chips. No lie you get the whole fish! Crispy and the fish is so tender. You get potato logs with the fish. Cole slaw goes well with this. They have a peach Belgian beer that tastes just like a fresh peach without being sweet. Amazing. Great atmosphere. Darts. And yes they actually have 99 bottles of beer on the wall in their own niches. A true Limey owns this. Love it!!

Great atmosphere with pool table and darts. Known for their burgers, my friend and I split one. 8 oz. Done perfectly with thick fries on the side. We also split a Chefs salad that could feed 3 as a side salad or 1 for a large meal. Will definitely go back

Amazing food and they are not stingy with the portions. The Guinness gravy rocks and the setting is amazing. Truly old world setting. It's a must go if your in Punta Gorda, FL!

Stop wasting time, it is either here or the other place down the road a bit (the Irish joint).
If you want amazing beers, and fantastic food, and a good place for the family go here! Simple as that. The wait staff is fantastic! The bar managers actually care! This was our first time and will not be our last!
SWFL is lacking a lot of things, however what it lacks the Ice House makes up for! Bloody amazing!response / report this review -

Excellent beer selection. They have a beer for everyone, over 140 different bottles and cans as well as 34 rotating taps. I've been here many times and the food is always spectacular. Steak sandwich is the best in the surrounding area, as well as their burgers!! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about everything on their menu including the beers they have. A must try!
