Typical car dealer, if you're not on the ball they will ream the hell out of you. Check blue book on your trade, they will lowball it to death. Found out that they sold our trade in 2 days later and still hadn't paid off the note 30 days later(we had to get the lien holder involved)
Gotta get the camry serviced. They are good people still have some people left over from Palm its now Gettel.
Took car in for recall service, come out with smashed dashboard. Not even a sorry for the inconvenience. Then 3 weeks until they can get the part they broke. Wow Gettel, get it together or sell. Your reputation is already shot.
ABSOLUTE RIP OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I called to order a key for my daughters 2007 Scion TC. I was told that the key was $246.05 including tax and another $110.88 to program the key. Okbit high for me. I asked " is there anywhere else I can buy a key, this is super expensive". I was told no, they are the only place that has the tools and programing knowledge. My daughter arrived to get the key programed and was told it would now be $250.00 to program her key because she did not have the "master" key she had a "valet"" key and valet keys take longer to program. I was never told there were 2 different keys to her vehicle, I was only asked for the VIN number. By now the key had already been cut. My daughter was there for an hour and was told she would have to leave her vehicle over night because it was not programing correctly. This is what was really going onthe technician gets off at 5:00 and it was now 5:06. He just did not want to complete the job or trouble shoot the issue.
End of story I am out $246.05 for the key (which I could have bought from the locksmith for$176.02, including tax AND programing) but there is a local locksmith specializing in factory remotes and more in town that will program your key for$38.50 even if you were misinformed by this dealership and have been RIPPED OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
USEHIGH TECH LOCKSMITHS FOR YOUR KEY REPLACEMNTS NOT THESE MONKEYS!!
The name has changed and I expect the ownership has as well. The differences are notable. Before, I could pick an open time on an online calendar for my service. Now I have to call and schedule an appointment which takes more time. When I got here there were over 6 vehicles waiting for a service advisor and that was never the case before. The simple service my car needed (tire rotation only) took two hours where it took 45 minutes before. I was interested in looking at a newer model of my car so I went out on the lot while I waited on the service. They only had one current model and two from last year they'd like to get rid of, period. It's still the same people they had before, the difference isn't their people. It's got to be their owners.
If you own a Toyota and live anywhere (we are 45 minutes away) near Palm Toyota in Punta Gorda this is the place to go for service! We have been there a few times now and have had consistently excellent service. Michelle is the go to person, always happy and positive. The waiting room alone is great and if you are there for a few hours there is a great little restaurant a very short walk away (south). Torch is a wonderful place to kill an hour or two. We had the good fortune to meet the owners Sean and Heidi. The food was delicious. Don't think it's going to be a good day at the repair shop.. think again!
