The food was absolutely delicious. Service was pretty good, the server made great recommendations and definitely knew the menu well. I like the old school family like vibe!

I expected true italian food. It lacked flavor. It had no seasoning. My son had the lasaña and it was under cooked as it had hard pieces of pasta. Very disappointed as I told my son it was a well rated place. There are many very good alternatives around town. Sorry but not coming back. Attention was good.

If you want the best Italian food in the city, this is the place to go! Great pasta, salads, pizza you name it. Always great staff. Easy to get to.

An excellent choice for authentic Italian fare. We usually order their pizza or spaghetti with salads. Lotsa history here as can be seen on the walls! Check 'em out!. Ample free parking and very easy to access to downtown. The cocktails aren't bad either :)

This is one of the most less advertised Italian places in downtown. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is comfy and classic. Honestly, it made me feel like little Italy or somewhere in Chicago.
I suggest calling in advance for reservation. Great place for a family visit or to start a date night then head to Mass ave for the rest of the night.response / report this review -

Julie was the best server! She was an absolute doll and such a fantastic personality! Along with the service the food was top notch! We were so impressed we asked to speak to the manager. It was such a joy to chat with Carla about our great experience! This place knows how to treat people and we loved it so much we will definitely be back again!

On the outskirts of the mostly busy and loud city of Indianapolis lies a humble little Italian restaurant full of delicious authentic dishes, charismatic employees, and enticing scents. The establishment has been around since the 30's, but the great food hasn't changed. If you have ever wanted a traditional Italian meal at an outstanding restaurant or a replacement for the Milano Inn, then Iaria's is for you.

They deserve all 5 stars! They serve traditional Italian recipes that have been passed down for generations for a reasonable price. The service is just as great as the food at this historic restaraunt and that's why it will continue to stand the test of time. Est 1913

Love this place!!
I'm a vegetarian and I was able to customize my spaghetti!!
It was mega delicious and the people that work there are super nice!
