I love this place i order all the time. However i recently just got my first lunch order and for the same price there is about half the amount of beef on my sandwhich and on my girlfriends gyro. Atleast they didnt forget her sauce again. If your gonna order i would do it more towards dinner and night time as it seems they heavily short you on meat during the day. But great tasting hope they fix the portion issues as i will continue ordering.

Wrong order the first time we visited them at the restaurant. No quality assurance at all. We were the only customers in there, during Summer. They had one job and they failed.

After lots of persuasion, my boyfriend agreed to buy from them via HungryBoiler. Wrong order once again!! The order was printed 100% correct on the invoice and receipt. The food was just not what it said on the receipt.

Called in to AJ's asking for a replacement. We don't want a refund, we want the food that we ordered and we want it very soon (we already waited for an hour for the wrong order). Guess what? Manager said he could get the food to us asap but he would want the wrong burger back. Wow!! We were just appalled at the whole experience and the request of the manager.

Quality is average. If you would go over to triple xxx (about 50 ft away), they offer better service, better quality food, quick service and they never got our orders wrong.

Stay away from this restaurant. If I could give them 0.5 stars, I would.

Inside, half the tables still had debris/crumbs present. There were only two patrons besides me so It wasn't busy. I ordered a burger and fry and had to answer a bunch of crazy questions like type of cheese and bread, etc.. so I was really excited thinking it was going to be extraordinary. For $10, I received a burger that was thin, dry, and had no flavor. There was no condiments nor dressings such as lettuce, tomato, pickle onion etc. on it although I didn't specifically request, I just assumed it would be dressed with something. Essentially, I found nothing unique or exceptional about this place. It costs more than a McD's yet has poorer quality food.

This place is not a 3.9 stars at all, such an unfair rating. All of the complaints on here don't even seem to be AJ's fault! Great food, exactly what you expect when you walk in to restaurant. Smokey atmosphere from the grilling burgers coming from the kitchen, amd the smells wafting into the seating area. I recommend this place to anyone making their way to the area. Oh, and the food is outstanding! All around awesome experience. My wife went to Purdue and took me here many times when I would visit. When we go back to the WL area, definitely coming back to AJ's!

Love the mac bites! Funnel fries are great, burgers are on point and the breaded chicken is fantastic, especially tossed on bbq sauce! Italian beef, dipped with some extra au jus! Yes please. Love this place!

Everyone at AJs is so nice. Like I have never had someone be rude, and they always seem happy to give me my food and order. The funnel cake fries are really good, but I think should be a little cheaper.

I have eaten at AJ's a lot of times and would have to say it is usually disappointing. I would have to say the main reason I have ordered multiple times over the last five years is the times they actually make a good bacon burger. I have had an instance where in my loaded waffle fry was a gnat. could have been a fly but looked more like a gnat. I called about it and the manager did not really seem like he cared asked if I wanted another one I said no because it kinda grossed me out and it was late. The insect was smashed on the side of one of the waffle fries. A lot of the times the burgers come soggy when delivered this has happen on numerous occasions. The soggy burger issue seems to be getting better has not happen in awhile. What has finally made me write this review is the fact that I tried to place an order for delivery before 2:45 am, which is the time on hungry boiler that says they stop delivering and they told me they are not delivering. I asked what if I had placed an order thru hungry boiler and they said that they will cancel it. It does not matter if it is a minute before the time you stop delivering if you get an order you should make and deliver it. Overall this place is pretty over priced but if you get lucky you might get a decent burger delivered.

This used to be one of my favorite places. I would grab a sub from jimmy johns and fries from here. However, their cleanliness has really gone downhill. I won't be back

Great alternative burger spot with good sized Chicago style menu items of fat, salt, and calories. Doesn't even try to act like anything is healthy which is a real rare mark of good ole fashioned honesty seems many big chains have lost conscious of. The burgers are large and well filling for their slightly higher prices. Will be back to try more! Other options to consider nearby: 5 Guys, Pete's Diner, DT Kirby's, and Pappies.
