I love the Mom and Pop places when I stay in the UP. The big name places are only about making money. The Mom and Pop places are about the guests. This place is one of those. Clean comfortable rooms. Extremely courteous and helpful staff, and an overall great experience. Will absolutely stay here again.

This hotel is a good location but Everything else about it is HORRIBLE. THE BEDS ARE UNCOMFORTABLE UNLESS YOU LIKE TO FEEL SPRINGS PRESSING AGAINST YOUR BODY. IF YOU ARE IN A WHEELCHAIR FORGET ABOUT USING THE RESTROOMS. THEY DON'T HAVE PHONES IN THE ROOMS AND WHEN THERE IS A STORM THE SATELLITE DISH TV GOES OUT AND EVEN WHEN IT DOES WORK WE COULDN'T TURN THE CHANNEL FROM THE USA NETWORK. WHEN YOU HAVE TO WATCH REGULAR TV IT ONLY GETS 3 CHANNELS WHICH FREEZE AND GO IN AND OUT.

Awful! Just a roof over our heads! No one ever in office. Drunks next to us. Never again! Plumbing was adventure to figure out! Mattress horrible kept sinking to center!

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, well kept old motel. I had a very, very late arrival planned and the staff was incredibly accommodating. I'll stay here my next time through.

Great price, great area, right next to two ferry docks to Mackinac island. Close to the boardwalk. The staff was wonderful. Rooms were very clean and smelled great.

We arrived late. The owner greeted me with a friendly smile. The motel has an updated look, but still quaint older motel vibe. Beds nice and comfy. Room was quiet. Pet friendly!!! Beautiful sunrise. Would definitely stay again. Room rate affordable.

Bare bones, old, but clean. Well run by friendly owners. Great value. Great location.
