We stayed a week here and really enjoyed it! The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable! There is a great view of the river, and the staff are so pleasant and accommodating! We will definently stay here on our next trip to the area!

The motel was very nice. The view off the balcony was beautiful even though it was cold. The staff was very friendly & accommodating. The breakfast items were good, only wish there would have been some meat, but plenty of everything. The rooms were very clean & the bed was very comfortable. Nice place, will stay again.

Great location, close to the bike trails. The hot tub was fabulous after a long ride. Wonderful view of the river.

Great location, super friendly staff, love the door leading out to a sitting area overlooking the river. Nice grassy area to walk my dogs. I will be back!

This is the best hotel to stay in Cheboygan. The rooms are clean. There is a door that opens to the outside of your room to sit outside and watch the boat activity on the river or just for fresh air.
The breakfast is the best of any hotel we've ever stayed in around the country. The staff is professional and friendly. We always recommend the River Terrace!response / report this review -

The room was great, not only do you have access to your room from the parking lot side but you also have a patio or balcony facing the river which we found great because we had pets & stayed on the first floor, the room was great size, the bed & bedding were really nice. The breakfast was good & it a little bit of everything. The pool & hot tub were clean & nice. Though the towels in the pool room were small so I would suggest bringing ones from the room.

Very comfortable room with new decor and bathroom. Quiet area. Excellent bed. Lovely view of the river from the balcony. Friendly, helpful staff and a very adequate breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was fine. The breakfast was fine. We stayed two nights, leaving our luggage in the room during our day trip. While we were gone, a pair of sandals disappeared from our room. Very disappointing as nothing has ever gone missing from our room in many years of staying with Best Western all across the U.S. and Canada. Plus, we are in the middle of a vacation, now without my sandals.

Very nice and clean room. It is pet friendly and that was wonderful. Breakfast was nice and had lots of options. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly. Everyone said hello as you passed them. I will come back again!

The bed is very comfortable. The shower is great. The rooms have a lovely view of the water and a nice baloney/patio with each room. A very beautiful setting. The breakfast is good. I love the waffles.

The only place I'll stay when doing an overnight in Cheboygan. My overnight business stay started well with second shift desk clerk Tim - who knew my name from once a month stays and always works to give me a convenient room at a fair corporate rate.
Room and property are well maintained and very clean. Rates are very fair.
*Appreciated overnight rates weren't doubled as Mackinaw bridge was closed due to falling ice that night. Had heard other bridge area hotel/motels had increased rates to take advantage of stranded motorists.
Bed, sink and tub very clean. TV, wall heater and fridge in good working order.
Clerk at morning express checkout very quick at closing out bill accurately and did with a nice smile and thank you for my stay.response / report this review -

Really 4+ stars. Very nice room with patio view and the river in front. What really impressed me was the cleanliness of the room. Even the corners of the bathroom floor were spotless - something quite often overlooked by cleaning staff. Would definitely stay there again if I am in the area.
