It's 'wonderful!' We found a 'PERFECT RECLINER' and didn't even need to 'break the bank' to buy it. Like a 'different store' we had looked at. Wonderful service also. And they 'APPRECIATE' our veterans. They asked my husband if he is a vet and we received a discount!

My wife and I own a condo in Gulf Shores AL and two years ago we bought a chair from Hunters. This was a recliner and a good chair but it began to show wear in certain places. We approached Hunters and asked if there was anything they could do about this. The owner, Malcolm, was very helpful and in the end we were able to purchase a new chair with a leather covering for just the cost of the leather! In our view Hunters response highly exceeded what many other dealers would have done. We were very pleased. Anyone who visits Hunters will find a wide array of fine furnishings at reasonable prices. Also the staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Anyone who has furniture needs down on the Gulf Coast should certainly visit their store (just south of Foley AL). Mac and Michelle Fife.

We shop here frequently not only for our condos but also for our personal home. The prices are better than anywhere else. We might find a sofa at Ashley, but then we come here to buy it because the owner here has better prices and treats us with respect (where they do not). If we ever have an issue with an item, they take care of it. We do prefer to work with the owner over some of the past salespeople as there is mutual respect (not pushy), but everyone in the store is courteous. We send all of our friends here as well without worry that they will not be taken care of. I am so thankful Hunters is an option as so many places down here come and go, or they are so overpriced it would not make sense to put something so expensive in a rental. At Hunters, we can get trendy and cute beach items at sensible prices.

We were quite pleased with the selection, prices and setup of the store but decided to take our business to another store because of the attitude of the saleslady. She was aggressively rude and not customer-friendly.

I purchased 2 recliners and a sofa. I thought I was getting a deal, but little did I know. First they told me one total and when I went to pay the total changed and it was more. That was the first thing wrong. Then they said it would take 3 weeks for the furniture to be completed. Well the sofa was done and ready for delivery in 3 days, don't know how if it had to be made. I told them I would wait for delivery till the recliners there done. Well 3 weeks later the recliners were done. I took delivery and first off the sofa had black dirty hand prints on it and one of the recliners was fine, but the other recliner looked like whom ever made it didn't know how to sew or make this chair. The delivery guy took pic's and called the store. The store said leave it and they will send a new sofa and find out what to do about the one recliner. They left. 2 day's later they were delivering a new sofa. I'm still thinking how are these sofa's being made so quickly when they said it would take 3 week's to be made. Anyway I was taking delivery of a new sofa which was dirtier then the first one. Keep in mind when I was picking out the fabric I chose a stain proof fabric, which we all know there is no such thing. So, however I didn't take delivery of that sofa. Another week went by with not much said about newly delivered item's. Finally I did they told me they needed to pick up the furniture because the sales reps for the furniture manufacturer were coming today. So they came and picked it up. A few hour's later I text and call the store to find out what was the verdict on what they were going to do. They told me the vendor's just left and fixed the problems. For me to come in to the store and inspect the furniture and decide whether or not the thought it was good. Well the sofa stain was still there and said that's all that was going to be done about that. As for the recliners, I was told as from as they were concerned the recliners were done acceptable according to industry standards, and that they were not going to do anything different to fix them. They told me pretty much take it or leave it. So I chose to leave them. They did give me my money back in full. Any furniture trying to pass off subpar furniture for upper end is very deceiving. I would never send or recommend hunter furniture to anyone. Also now I'm without living room furniture till I find another furniture store to order new. The owner of hunter furniture is a joke. Think 3 times before you go to that store.

We have bought lots of furniture for our condos from Hunters.
The quality is very good and the prices very reasonable.
When I had a problem with a chair,it was addressed quickly, withot argument and I was extremely satisfied.

We had to buy furniture for a new Condo that we had purchased and we had never bought furniture in Orange Beach and did not know where to go, but we finally found Hunter Furniture and we were able to find everything we needed there. They were so helpful and had beautiful displays of different rooms and it made shopping so much easier. We are very happy with the furniture and the service.
