I called in for service and a rental car, they were able to get me in the same day. Did everything I requested, suggested other things, and completed on schedule. Great experience.
I will absolutely shop at Hubler again. Ronnie, my salesman, was very professional and helpful throughout the buying process. His efforts to go above and beyond to find the right truck for me allowed me to get exactly what I wanted in the truck. His efforts to provide outstanding service allowed for an excellent buying experience. I would absolutely buy another vehicle from this dealership, especially from Ronnie.
Our salesman Nick was really helpful and super responsive to all our questions and requests. He was laid back; we didn't feel any pressure like at most dealers. And he helped us find just what we were looking for. We love our Equinox! If you go to Hubler, I definitely recommend asking for Nick!
Sales team was fine. Nothing special or awful about them. Finance department was terrible. After agreeing on a price with the salesman, we waited over two hours to meet with the financial person. Upon meeting with him we were rushed through the entire process. My girlfriend and I had never bought a car from a big dealership so we were unsure of the process. When we asked questions the finance person told us not to ask questions because it would just confuse us. In retrospect we should have left, but we had spent half a day at the dealership and were ready to make a purchase. We thought about buying the car outright but decided to finance a small portion of it to help our credit reports. We bought the car on August 12 and are still receiving information about loans we never requested in the mail. Although we put 3/4 of the money down on the car, the loan requests we are receiving are for more than the agreed sales price. We were never given any choice about different loans, merely told that our loan would be through one company.
If you are not financing a car I imagine the experience here would be fine, but I will never return.
I took my Traverse in for warranty work about a month ago for transmission and AC issues. The service department allegedly fixed both issues. About a week and half after I picked up my Traverse, the hissing noise from the AC started again (exact same thing it did prior to it going out before). I notified the dealership service department via email and they told me to bring it back in. I brought the Traverse back in, and after 5 days I picked it back up again. I was told I had to pay another deductible, because allegedly it was different parts. I didn’t agree with this and the manager agreed to cover half the deductible. I left the dealership and headed towards home. I didn’t get two miles and the engine message popped on my screen saying my engine was overheating and it was shutting the AC down. I pulled over on the side of 465 and turned off my vehicle. I called the service department and explained to Chris the situation and he told me he would send someone for my vehicle and to pick up my baby and myself. We waited on the side of the interstate, in 90* weather with the road side assistance (state farm) until they sent someone to get us. Ernie was the gentlemen that picked us up and he was very apologetic. He stated he was very glad nothing happened to us, as someone had been hit from their dealership recently on the side of the interstate. I was also appreciative that he decided not to wait on the mechanic technician, who was on his lunch break, to come and get us. Chris assigned us another rental car and we went home. Tory contacted us later that evening and stated that the tech didn’t get all the air out of the coolant line and a bubble hit the thermostat, which is why I got the read out on my screen. I asked if my motor could be damaged because of this, and she told me I would have had to have driven around for at least two hours before damage would occur. I received a call that night from Chris stating the there was an air bubble and that was the issue. I asked if it was possible that the tech didn’t put coolant back in the system and he said most likely not. He stated that they fixed it and test drove it for 25 miles (didn’t replace gas) and that they were confident it was fine. I asked him as well, if my motor could be damaged because of this and he said “no, because it was a newer car and there were mechanisms in place for that not to happen..as in the engine would shut itself down.” My engine didn’t shut itself down, I did. The paperwork they provided documented stated that “the owner stated that the vehicle was overheating and the customer had just picked it up from AC service. It was found to have no coolant in the system.” We asked Chris go back and fix this wording, as it didn’t properly reflect what happened. He asked us to wait because he had to have the service manager come talk to us and he was the one who would have to fix the paperwork. We waited 15-20 minutes for this service manager to come and talk to us and he never did. The revised paperwork was completed by Chris and it stated that “the owner stated that the vehicle was overheating and the customer had just picked it up from AC service. It was found to have no coolant in the system due to tech error. They replaced the coolant and test drove the vehicle.” I am very concerned they have permanently damaged my vehicle I bought from the dealership a little over a year ago.
Worked me in on a Saturday even though they were fully scheduled. It was a slight safety issue. Fixed the tail light, changed oil and rotated tires and called two hours later telling me the car was ready for pick-up. The cost was hard to beatzeroand gave me a car wash coupon to boot.
Great customer service and very helpful. If you go there ask to speak with Darius Dunn, he is a great salesman and will help you how ever he can.
Edit: Well it's been little more than a year and a half. I have only put less than 40 thousand miles on my car and I start having engine problems. So I take my car to get it looked at and I'm told my warranty which is supposed to be 2 years 100 thousand miles. Has expired due to miles. I bought this car with little over 61 thousand miles on it. So in reality they didn't give me 2 years 100 thousand but 2 years and less than 39 thousand miles. I asked them multiple times if it was 100 thousand from now and they said yes. So they lied to me and now since my car is setting at 100381 miles. I now have to pay thousands of dollars to get my car fixed. Don't buy a car from here. They will lie to you just so they can get a sale.
The service writers were assisting other customers when I arrived, however, I was acknowledged and told someone would be with me shortly. I was greeted, appt was on the schedule and they were prepared to receive my vehicle as scheduled. My wait time was short. I was offered a breakfast sandwich and beverage while I waited. I also needed to charge my cell phone during my visit and was directed to an outlet the I could use. Everyone was polite and accommodating. This is the 3rd vehicle I have purchased from Hubler and although it is a busy dealership, I appreciate being treated personally and not like 'just another customer'. I appreciate the professionalism and the courteous staff!
Cletus and all the people at Hubler Chevy were awesome. They were extremely professional and very helpful. Cletus Morris made the new car buying experience a breeze. He worked and worked to help get me the very best deal that Hubler could offer. Thank you so much Cletus.
Had a great experience. Willie Cook did an outstanding job in getting my into the right vehicle. I went in with a car in mind and the car was not good, so he took the time to show me all my options and got me into the best vehicle for me.
I bring my car to Hubler routinely for service. I will tell anybody if you want your vehicle to continue to perform well you got to keep up with the maintenance. I trust Hubler with my car. I depend on it greatly and I love my 2006 Chevy HHR it is a good car and I try to take care of it. It has nearly 300,000 miles on it. I am a pastor who travels 210 miles a couple of times a week just to church not including being a mom with very active children. Hubler does an excellent job with my car and they are good at making your service experience comfortable. Their service staff is very pleasant and personable. I really dislike sitting around waiting but, Hubler tries to ease the pain of the wait. I appreciate the effort and the comfortable caring atmosphere. I trust and really like Hubler Chevrolet.
I loved that they were nice enough to give me a three night stay at a hotel of my choice. When I dropped off my truck it was like they already knew me. I was escorted to the waiting room with full amenities and a complimentary meal of my choice. It was the best experience of my life.
Incredible experience! Rob, Al and Barb made our new car purchase an absolute pleasure, and we got the best deal on a Vette possible. However, any profit they thought they made off of us was quickly lost by the amount of food our 10 year old consumed at their complimentary cafe.
