This is a well maintained park bike and walking trails. Great for kids of all ages!
We stopped in here for a quick break. We only did the playgrounds but it's a nice park seems clean and well maintained.
A gem of Indy Parks. Paved trails good for running and cycling, nice playground, and hard packed hiking trails, as well. Clean, quiet, beautiful.
Beautiful park with plenty of shaded areas, shelters are well kept, awesome playgrounds for kids. Shelters could use more parking, but it's a terrific pleas to hang out a while or have a gathering.
This park is great. It has nature walks, trails to walk or jog and the staff will answer questions. Their summer camp for kids is worth the money. Kids have a blast and learn many things about nature.
The trail was full of interesting critters that were fun to discover. Definitely wear bug repellent! It was easy for the kids to walk too. There are many picnic tables to use and the reserved table areas are clearly marked. The park is huge so it was nice to walk around and explore even after we were finished with the trail and making our way to the playground.
Great place but today I was not only greeted by numerous dog poo piles left on the side of trails but people refusing to follow the one way signs. I understand that many may be foreign (the people doing this at this time were all going to one specific gathering) but there are directional signs for a reason and if the rest of us respect them, then there's no reason why everyone else can't. If you got a drivers license then you must be capable of reading English. Also perhaps car pool or walk to your event instead of parking all over the grass. I know it can be an inconvenience but it's a way to protect and preserve our parks so others can enjoy them in the future. There's not enough parks to hike around here so let's respect the ones we have.
Very large park with wide open spaces for playing sports, paved and wooded trails, plenty of parking, picnic tables covered and out in the open, children's playground, and a pond.
This park has wooded trails, open green spaces, 2 playgrounds, shelters, picnic tables, and restrooms. It's well maintained. Love taking the family to this park.
I love this park. Great trails and a lot of room to hold events and parties.
Explore the southwest trails, the trails few dare to explore. The paths are more narrow, but go! Right now, since it's still Winter, before the next few months of rain, you have a great opportunity to hike alongside the creek's banks while it's low. Regardless, check out these trails- they never seem to end. You'll love it.
For the regular folk: A peaceful park for everyone. It is somewhat off the beaten path since it is still considered Indy. It is located in a rural area, next to Shelby and Hancock County. The park is huge with open meadows, hills, trees for shade, and the heavily wooded area full of trails.
Great variety of walking paths. Lots of activities. Would get 5 stars of it had a disc golf course. Otherwise a great place to spend a day.
