This trail is not a three. It is a FIVE!!!!! Lots of beaver activity. Beautiful clearings and ponds. Really a treat. Thank you for your service, Bill.

We have "adopted" this trail and are responsible for its upkeep. The trail is presently (June 2016) undergoing a major rehabilitation due to lack of maintenance. The trail is now fully blazed (marked) end to end, including beaver dam avoidances. Be prepared for occasional mud when crossing the many brooks. This is excellent moose habitat, but you must be quiet and have patience (LATE dusk and EARLY dawn). Work is anticipated to continue through 2017, but is open 7x24. I'm giving it three star as the trail was mostly unnavigable until now, but the trail is now obvious, brush cut back and marked with temporary yellow and orange surveyors tape. Enjoy!
