So pleased and proud to have this wonderful recreation center and ski resort in my "backyard". Always a first-class effort to provide the sporting public with lots to do year-round. Throw in spectacular views and exciting rides and you have no reason to go anywhere else.

I grew up and learned how to snowboard at Gunstock. Great instructors!! 15 years later and I still enjoy this mountain. Not terribly challenging, but a great place to spend going downhill. Be sure to go left.
Not too crowded, no long lift lines with the RFID card system!
Solid family mountain if that's your thing. Good basic pub food!response / report this review -

This is perhaps the greatest family oriented mountain in New England
I work as a volunteer here, and because hundreds of volunteers work for this Belknap County owned mountain, it has a special atmosphere because the people who work here feel a special ownership of the place and what they do here.
The terrain is great for a moderately small mountain, and the view from the summit is one of the best in all of New England as well.
So, this just happened. We had this great day skiing in fresh snow with my step-son and his kids. It wives don't ski, so they spent the day in the Lodge catching up. We were splitting up and giving hugs downstairs in the middle of the lodge while the food service workers were finishing cleanup in the cafeteria, and they joined right in and hugged us good-bye. This has been my home ski mountain for years. Not the largest mountain ever, but good for what it is. They offer a reasonably priced college pass which I have taken advantage of.
The staff is always friendly and sometimes they even come up to me and ask me how the runs are looking in my opinion.
Gunstock offer a bus shuttle when the lots are filled on the weekends.
Their website is updated daily with a snow report, and conditions, as well as 3 different 24/7 live web cams.
A great place to bring families.
If you're skiing alone the best option is to go early on a weekday and you'll get the whole mountain pretty much to yourself.
I haven't been there during the summer yet, but I understand they do a mountain coaster and ziplining.response / report this review -

I love that is relatively close to Boston and it has nice trails. They do a very good job grooming. Lift ticket prices are reasonable. They have any four hours of the day for $60 and that's nice if you don't want to ski all day. Private classes are also reasonable and they have good instructors.

Nice mountain awesome views from the top! I just wish it was a bit bigger and not as crowded on the weekends. Can't complain though for $100 all your lift tickets are 50% off for the year.

Very fun place. Great use of a ski resort during Summer months. We did the zip line course4000 foot from top of mountain and a 3800 one from middle of mountain. The staff/guide are very helpful and friendly.
Only issue is the Adventure Tree Top course demo was slow. A lot of people had to.be shown how to work the equipment etc
All in all very fun place. Highly recommended. The mountain coaster was very very fun. Make sure you know your riddles the operators will ask you to solve a riddle as you are boarding the cars.response / report this review -

This place has come a long way and we should all be so thankful that we have an amazing skiing mountain in the Lakes Region. I learned how to ski here and have some of my best memories with friends here. It all depends on the season. If it's a good snow season expect it to be busy. It was off the hook in 2016. Here's to another great year!

Fantastic summer afternoon for the whole family. We bought the adventure package. Good value. Children ages 3, 5, 7, 9 all had such a good time they had to be dragged away at closing time. Friendly staff working hard at providing a positive experience for all.

Our first time there,and it was beautiful, we had a great time. I didn't know about the adventure park until 3:00 on the second day had we known we would have bought the all day pass. We did by the lift and coaster ride which were awesome. We will be back in a few weeks. Thank you Karen and Jim Bonevelle

I like to slide down hills with slippery sticks on my feet. Do you? If so you will like this place very much. Good trails and terrain will help destroy what is left of your knees! Fun! If you want some pizza or French fries they can do that for you. Drinks are also available so you will not get dehydrated. Parking and shuttles to and fro will help get you to the slopes. Cross country more your thing? The Nordic Center will hook you up. Fat Biking is also cool on the XCtrails. That is great in case you were unawares.
