Clean, easy to find just of I10. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The only bad experience i had was tge walls between rooms were too thin. Kept hearing the person next door coughing throughout the night. Otherwise a decent place for a one night stay.

Nicely maintained property! Clean with friendly staff. Light breakfast, biscuits n gravy, cereal, pastries, waffle or yogurt. Coffee decent!!! No eggs but that is not a deal breaker. Overall a nice stay. I expected old rundown hotel when my wife said HJ's. I thought it was new, under 2 yrs old. it looks so nice. It's on our hotel list for great stops. If we hit this area again, we found a great sleep over.

Just myself staying for one night. Late night check in- got to my room and everything looked ok. Even told my wife the room appeared to be good at first glance. Unpacked. Then opened one of the bedside table drawers. 4 little roaches. Opened the other side drawer. 10 baby roaches started scurrying around. And crawled up into the bracket of the drawer slide. Quickly packed up my belongings and went to front desk. Desk said no other rooms available. Ended up going to dollar general down the street to get some Raid roach killer and then spent the next 45 minutes going to town on the things. The only other hotels nearby were way more expensive and I was too tired to keep driving. The next morning woke up and 2 more roaches on the wall. Manager only took $30 off of bill. Had it been my wife and kids we would have been outta there in a heartbeat. Looking back, I should have split first thing and demanded entire refund. Oh well- live and learn.

Very friendly desk clerk. 👍 rates. Room very clean and nice. Got a smoking room and you'd never know it was smoking. Smelled very nice when we got in room. Highly recommend it.

You will not find a more caring staff then you will here. Shannon goes above and beyond when it comes to southern hospitality. We evacuated because of Irma when we came across this Howard Johnson. In a time of chaos she was extremely helpful and kind.

Right off the interstate. The room was nice size, clean room, the linens were clean. Only 4 pillows for king bed, only 2 towels. Breakfast had waffles, gravy and biscuits, cereal and toast. Truck parking. Would recommend and return.

The good: hotel seemed to have recently been renovated, and was clean. The waffles at breakfast wrre great. The bad: the room smelled like stale cigarette smoking (we were assigned a smokers room, as there was an ashtray). The ugly: the matresses were as soft as concrete. Awful!

Very large room. Relatively clean given the age of the property. Very nice front desk personnel. Breakfast is good considering it was supposed to be Continental..had waffles and biscuits with gravy. Would stay again.

We stayed here while traveling with our four kids. We had a two bedroom suite with a Fireplace. Everything was clean and ready for our arrival. The staff were very accommodating and responded quickly to one issue with the firealarm
