I went their during Hurricane Irma because they were all that's left. They jacked up the prices because the demand was so high for rooms. So instead of helping the victims of Irma they made sure to make as much money as possible off of our situation. We had cats and they accept dogs but not cats but for the hurricane they were willing to make an exception for the victims of Irma for a pretty penny of course. They changed $100 per pet per day on top of the cost of the room. The place was filthy, dated, noisy, and the internet made you want to commit suicide.
The man named Romin Patel below giving a five star is one of the main @$$holes that works at this motel if not the owner. His review is totally bogus and unreliable.response / report this review -

Disgusting, roaches everywhere, the bathroom looks like a scene from jigsaw and the prostitutes arguing about money outside is ridiculous. I only got the hotel because you can smoke freely in the rooms. Not worth it!

We reserved a non smoking room and ended up with a smoking room. We had toddlers with us so that wasn't great. The coffee maker in the room was pretty gross, and so was the bath tub. It came with free continental breakfast. So my husband went down in the morning to bring breakfast back for the kids, because they had their diapers leak and we didn't have clean pants and didn't want to take them out to the lobby area on diapers. The receptionist wouldn't allow us to take food back to a room that his a microwave and a fridge. It was very disappointing. It's hard enough traveling with 3 kids, to then have a hotel dictate where we eat when we've paid for our room and food. We travel a lot to this area and we will never be staying here again.

Disgusting room. Just got done doing hurricane relief in Florida for five days and just wanted a bed and shower. We have NO hot water. Receptionist told us we had been here for more than 10 minutes so there was nothing she could do! Wouldn't fix it, let us change rooms or anything. So no shower. Never dealt with such unprofessional people in my entire life. Room is dirty and unkempt. So mad I just wasted money here.

The bathroom had mold, the drawers on the furniture were broken, and it had a horrid stale smell. I slept with one eye open. NEVER STAY HERE!!!! Do not believe their "pet friendly" status; they are anything but. I was charged $50 for my declawed cat. They said they had to Steam Clean the carpets those carpets have never ever been cleaned they were just taking my money. My cat slept and stayed in their bathroom. When I asked for my money back, they never responded. Completely taking advantage of the Hurricane Irma Evacuees!!!

This is by far the worst hotel I EVER stayed at!!! The hotel manger is rude!!! the receptionist was rude & ghetto. I asked for a nonsmoking room upon checking in, as I leave the front desk to go to my room, I get out my car & noticed the curtains were closed(usually when u checking into a room that's available the curtains are open) so I walked up to the room put my key in the door!!!! open the door & someone was already in that room, I go back to the front desk & let the receptionist know & she look at me like I did something wrong, so she give me another room!!! I went to that room open the door & you would of literally thought that was the marijuana room because it smelled just like that (smell was in full affect) I go back to the front desk, she on her phone when I walked in & wasn't in a hurry to get off either & you could definitely see her attitude this time. finally after my 3rd trip to the front desk I got an ok room. Everyday I got off from work I had to go to the front desk for them to reactivated my room key. on the scale from 1-10 I would give them a 0 off the scale!!!!

Did not get the room I requested..wasn't even told or asked if a double would be ok or not..service desk personel night or morning wasn't very pleasant. Room looked like it needed a makeover..the white tub was stained and yellow the carpet needs to be replaced actual missing sections just not what I expected at all. Not one recommended for a romantic weekend getaway.

Mold in some rooms! I am highly allergic to mold. My face broke out after staying there. We were able to change rooms but the owner wasn't happy. We were also locked out of our room!

Where to begin.I guess the best part of the experience was checking in. I tried to get a discounted room, but was told that the only room available was an upgraded King room, or a smoking room which was really bad. Front desk was so helpful and pleasant, that I went with the "upgraded" room. It was clean, but looked like it was in the middle of a remodel. I was tired, so I suffered. The remote sort of worked on the TV, it changed channels, but that was it. To turn on/off the TV or adjust the volume, I had to figure out the controls on the TV itself. In the morning, I took a shower, but the drain in the tub was slow. When I went to check out, I told the girl at the front desk, and she shot back "Well, I'm not the owner." I replied, "Obviously you are not, but I think you might be able to tell maintenance about these issues before the room gets used again." With her attitude, I figured that she wouldn't tell maintenance, and I then also decided not to tell her about the sugar ants in the breakfast area or none of the lamps were plugged in my room (and I still am not sure which plug in belonged to the wall switch, since nothing worked with it)

The hotel itself is nice, updated, and "straightened up", but the customer service and professionalism at this hotel might be the worst I've ever experienced!
One afternoon, I used the laundry facility. I put my detergent, fabric softener, and clothes in the washer. Neither of the two washers would drain water so we have to basically break an arm and a leg for the manager to allow us to use the maids laundry to finish. He first makes me wring the clothes each out by hand and calls me to pick them up several hours later making us miss dinner plans.
The morning of our departure, I get a phone call from the manager angrily asking me what someones problem was outside on the parking lot. He was referring to where the day before, my niece wrote "Howard Johnson" in Chalk, in an extra little space of concrete and it looked pretty good. He said that if we didn't get out there and have it washed off within the hour, they would call the police! Wow!
Around checkout, we walked down the stairs, and we're confronted by one of the front desk girls. She had been staying in the room next to ours (with different people continuously in and out). She accused me of calling the police on her the previous night for drugs. This woman also stayed in the room next to us on another few night stay and had people in and out again that she was having loud relations with! She would always be strutting around any man that was a guest and would even invite them to her room.
Never in my life have I ever had a worse customer service experience! Would not suggest this place to family or friends!!response / report this review -

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room/bathroom was nice and clean. Not frilly, but good for the price. Quiet location. I would definitely stay here again.
