Drinks for anyone under 21 are almost non existent.. other than that the food was delicious. Though portion sizes were pretty small and left me feeling rather hungry. Nifty place, could use one or two small changes.

HotelRed is in a great location across from Camp Randall, but there are better places to stay closer to campus and the Capitol. The hotel is way overpriced for what it is. The decor is a little to hip for my tastes, but sometimes it is the only hotel available in Madison, most likely because of it being on the outskirts of Madison and the high price. The beds are uncomfortable and there are cement floors. Who puts cement floors in Wisconsin? It is basically a party hotel, which is not a bad thing as long as you know it ahead of time. It is clean and convenient for games, so I will give them 3 stars for that.

From the moment I stepped into HotelRED's lobby I knew I was going to love this hotel! Such a unique vibe! We had a suite, it was simply amazing! So spacious and lovely! The large balcony was perfect for morning coffee. I also loved the large modern bathroom and the kitchenette. Everything was wonderful! The gym is one of the coolest hotel gyms I've ever been to. And the restaurant had a great menu and wine selection too. The staff was very friendly. Parking was easy. What can I say - I loved it all! Highly recommend this beautiful boutique hotel!

I attended a dinner at this hotel, and it was basically fine. The food was decent but not exceptional, the room and decor were inoffensive. No complaints.

We were there for a happy hour event for young professionals. Drinks were great, food was delicious, patio was perfect. Awesome place and I can imagine how much better it would be on a game day. Nice to have a higher end bar near the stadium. Also met Coach Barry Alvarez there!

Went to HotelRed to try their in-house restaurant The Wise. Service was great but out of a lot of menu items. The food we had was very good. They did take off the price for one meal and 1 drink.

I Loved being taken care of. From the time I pulled up in my car and the valet took my car and helped my family with all our bags and our coolers to our room, all the employees were great and helpful. Housekeeping had our room clean. All your employees were very helpful. The hotel even had a shuttle to take us to dinner.

Great hotel suite and amenities. There was a cook riding up and down the elevator with trays of bacon to let folks know it's breakfast time and then handed out the bacon.
Super nice staff, very accommodating, and would recommend for a brief staycation.
I couldn't afford more than a couple of days in the suite$$$$

OK so sometimes I fall backwards into a pile of manure and come up smelling like a rose. This was one of those notable occasions.
We knew we were heading to Madison for the Art fair on the Square, and we wanted to bring Beauregard our 14 month old black lab.
I found Hotel Red and decided to take a chance. We love this place! Great space, friendly helpful staff and we got to bring our best buddy Beau.
This is the place for us in Badger town.

Great Location & Amenities” - I loved the room's balcony, amenities and the location was convenient for the conference I was attending. I was also able to get a nice bike ride in as the Southwest Commuter Path runs in front of the hotel which connects to many of the other city trails; it turned out to be a great way to explore Madison in a short period of time. The valet attendant (just for non-guests? - couldn't tell) was less than helpful when I arrived, but the rest of staff was very accommodating.
